Since 2009, over 2,700 people have been introduced to nanotechnology through the International Institute for Nanotechnology’s (IIN) partnership with the Museum of Science and Industry (MSI) in Chicago.  Every year, the IIN partners with MSI on Nano-related activities sponsored by the National Science Foundation’s Nanoscale Informal Science and Education (NISE) Network. On April 23, 2016, tabletop demonstrations illustrating nanotechnology concepts for the general public were manned by IIN Ryan Fellows.  This year, hundreds of children and adults visited the Zoom into Nano exhibit at MSI, and were introduced to nanotechnology concepts through age-appropriate demonstrations that were received with enthusiastic and inquisitive interest.  http://bit.ly/23msDFp
