I sit down next to the gate my plane is scheduled to use for boarding. Next to a plug, I start catching up on the news. One must keep himself informed!

This drawing has been in production for almost a year! I left it as an un-uploaded scrap since I botched up the line size (I'll upload the original scrap to the scraps folder now). I just thinned out the lines on my face in order to actually make it look right. It's the first time I actually change my head in any way! Though I won't be doing anything else in the foreseeable future. It was the only real way to save the drawing.

This was taken at Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport, Terminal A in October of last year. We were running to DC for the weekend to do a few things. Our flight had a terrible delay and left to PR about the time it was supposed to leave PR. It was also supposed to be a sort of homage to Working on the Go, using my newly acquired Portege M750, and a test piece on overlaying objects on top of my head, with my phone.

OK, so here's literally what happened. I'm in the middle of the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, which is absolutely great by the way. The gemstones presented were amazing. But anyways, I was there and I saw these phones and I was like, "I literally have to have a photo like this". It is literally something that really belongs in a museum by this point.

I don't really like how my arms came out. My left arm kinda looks like a log, but i needed this photo. I don't really know what made me do it, but I knew I had to.

My fingers move swiftly through the keys, playing just a few songs I learned half from guessing, and half from youtube tutorials. I wish I could have something like this back at home. I feel the power of the strings as I hit the notes with as much power as I can, making the whole cabin resonate with the sound. Occasionally I look up, trying to find out how to set the piano to play, without such luck.

This was the lodge I stayed at while for 3 nights while I was in the area. Several photos I hope to turn into drawings, especially on the hike we did to the lower mountains near Mt. Rainier. My dad took these photos though, and I don't have access to them at the moment. Will make them as soon as I return to my little island.

This piano was one of the reasons I was actually super psyched on staying here, and even though it was noticeably a little out of tune, it was still great.

Oh yeah, and I also tried something relatively new. Instead of just filling the area of my hand, I used the recolor tool on Paint.NET. I don't know if it came out great, but certainly looked better than a uniform cover.

As I fly off into the ocean, I look down below as the tiny little island I call home gets farther and farther away. I won't be seeing it for more than a month, but the excitement of being somewhere completely different excites me. I break a smile.

Hello everyone! This is one of three drawings I'll be publishing today! I really like this one actually. I added a small little blur to hide a few of my editing tricks, and I love how it came out, even though these tricks are still kinda noticeable.

This was attempt #2 to make an up close photo of myself in transport. I've still got an old working title I'd love to push out, but I don't think I'll be able to. In any case, 2 more drawings coming right up!

I walk down to the river, surrounded in the evergreen plants. The river flows around the rocks I stand on as I captivate the sound of the water gushing by.

HEY GUYS I'M BACK! This was a fun little drawing. I'm currently in Washington, and this was taken at Copper Creek Lodge, near Mt. Rainier. I got a few more pictures there and on the mountain I hope to publish sometime soon!

Publishing my first text!

"After an apocalyptic flood envelops the Earth, 4 survivors escape their underground prison, trying to make sense of how scientific predictions were so far off, and eventually finding out the hidden power behind it."

First person narrative (I'm the main character, and I can see why that could be a problem). Still, I'd like to see what else you guys could recommend to make it better. Another story is in the work, so I'd like some good suggestions. Thanks! Enjoy!

I made it!

This drawing was another one that was long overdue. I actually go through this airport a lot and I finally found this location. It's in the older part of the airport. Heck, I was practically next door when I shot "Working on the go". It's a shame that they removed the chairs to view the planes comfortably. It's kind of an allusion to my first drawing, and looking back, it's impressive how much of a difference there is. The hand came out a little weird, but i've noticed I set my hands in very weird positions.

IT’S TOO SUNNY OUTSIDE. HOW DO I MANAGE TO LIVE IN THIS ENVIRONMENT OF INFERNAL HEAT? I Don’t know.

Last drawing from El Conquistador Resort. This was taken on the ferry from the main island to Palominio Island. The sun was far too hot to go to the beach. We promptly left after a quick dive. The beaches there are beautiful, it was just too hot. It’s been too hot all this season, reaching high 90s. I look huge because this photo was taken by my sister who was sitting right next to me.

You know how people always say “Look up from your phone!”.

Maybe they’re right

You may just be missing something spectacular!

Honestly, this piece was fun. It was such a beautiful view from our room at El Conquistador Resort (the same hotel from “50 Shades of Brown”). Quick piece too, though may later crop the bottom due to the awkward pant thing. Seriously, Pants are so weird for these drawings.  My head also feels a little tiny, but I guess it’s OK. All in all, a good piece.

Mr. Igtampe will see you now

No but seriously this piece’s name is 50 Shades of Brown because of how many browns there are. I don’t want to make any tangential plot lines to 50 shades of grey for my personality. It was a fun little photo taken while arriving at El Conquistador Resort a few weeks ago. Expect some more from this location!
