This Friday, famous Italian Chef Antonio Carluccio​ is visiting Rottnest Island, Western Australia​ to film the upcoming documentary “Carluccio’s Corrobboree”.

As part of the filming, he will also be having a casual cooking session open to the public, where Mr Carluccio's will share his fantastic philosophy on food while preparing seafood dishes including Brodetto. He will be utilising local Rottnest Island seafood with his own special recipes and sharing some tastings with the public.

You will be able to enjoy the Island in the morning and then join the cooking demonstration at 1pm under the Olive Tree at Hotel Rottnest.

A unique night to celebrate the most authentic Italian restaurants in Perth and try a new delicacy: the saffron from the city of L'Aquila.

Special course for the night "Risotto alla Milanese con Ossobuco", aka braised cross-cut veal shanks served with slowly cooked rice with a pinch of saffron.

The Consulate of Italy in Perth and the Western Australian Comites would like to invite you to an Information seminar that will discuss issues of interest for Italian citizens who have moved recently to WA, and issues concerning problems being faced at workplaces in WA. During the seminar there will be presentations by: Department of Immigration and Border Protection, Fair Work Ombudsman, Vetassess, Registered Migration Agents and the Italian Consulate of Perth.
