I need to make these this weekend. I need some good comfort food. And it's one of the few things I'm allowed to do in my own kitchen. :-)

Okay, I'm bad. I admit, this comment - right here - is all about trolling my friend who keeps telling me that my latest series of posts are "NSFW" :-)
And I keep telling him not to be reading social media at work (says the girl writing on social media at work... /cough/ /cough/ )

Ha, two years later and my friends' kid is still dismantling everything. She's crazy smart, and absorbs everything. Now, she describes herself as a "Lego Superhero" as she can assemble pretty much any kit start-to-finish, and only needs help with the stickers (because she's a perfectionist, and they have to line up just so).

The Danger of Education
Let's see: education is dangerous to the control of the religious flock; education is dangerous to the control of women. Yep, I think that about covers it.

It took me forever to get the formatting to a point where I was satisfied.

I don't know, what do you think +Mark Craddock, +Mark Knights? Is the formatting readable? Are the conversions okay? I had some help from the group, but we were all kind of figuring this out as we went along.

I got to play her one time in each game version. The V&V version was a bit frustrating, since very nearly everything shuts down her "HTH" attacks, although I frustrated the villains by Evading and soaking damage.

The LL version wasn't very satisfying. The single-die no-bell-curve resolution system felt a bit like Savage Worlds without the panache. And I couldn't Evade and attack in the same turn. Although, it was fun ignoring pretty much every attack thrown at me :-)

The MP version was even weirder. It's like V&V with "lessons learned" from LL. Or something. Definitely V&V, but with a hideously more complicated character generation system, and amazingly streamlined combat and skill system.

I think, of the bunch, I liked MP the best (although, only slightly better than V&V, but V&V was more fun ignoring attacks outright, while MP was faster play, so six-of-one-half-dozen of the other).

I've been neglecting this blog. I guess I just haven't been feeling all that light-hearted lately.
