Switched the Job.com CSS over Compass/SASS, was using LESS CSS before. Now I can actually see where the errors are in my code :)
Why designers love Compass. Experience cleaner markup without presentational classes. It's chock full of the web's best reusable patterns. It makes creating ...

I just blogged about design constraints in App icon design.
Chrome Home Screen. The beauty, creativity and diversity that can be designed in a contraint is evident in iOS icons. Designers can bring something different and fresh to the icons, while in the same ...

I understand your point, but I think it really has to do with the mindset of the different company's. Google is more come as you are, and Apple is more come as we tell you. I am a fan of Google because of that mindset . it makes me think of the irony of the apple 1984 commercial. Of course I am a fan of Google and not so much of apple so my opinion is a little biased.

Oh, good. I hope so. Games aren't bad, just they are super annoying for people who don't want to play them. Seems like a fair compromise.

Hot experiment with a left navigation. Meny, a CSS 3D fold-in menu.

Works nice on iPhone & iPad too.

I made some scaleable media buttons using just CSS, no images.
I was thinking about something that I could that would be pure css and also practical. The idea came to me to do media buttons with CSS. Using the :before and :after psuedo selectors the Play, Pause, ...

Those are classy.  I like the idea of doing as much as possible in CSS without using pre-rendered graphics (probably because I'm a coder, not a designer).

(Wed16) Steve Jobs resigns from Apple. Tim Cook to be CEO. This is the text of his resignation letter:
-----
To the Apple Board of Directors and the Apple Community:

I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple''s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.

I hereby resign as CEO of Apple. I would like to serve, if the Board sees fit, as Chairman of the Board, director and Apple employee.

As far as my successor goes, I strongly recommend that we execute our succession plan and name Tim Cook as CEO of Apple.

I believe Apple''s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.

I have made some of the best friends of my life at Apple, and I thank you all for the many years of being able to work alongside you.

Steve
-----

No CEO in the history of mankind has done more for his customers, employees, and shareholders than Steve. I consider it an honor to have worked for him.

Fast response. Fast service. I needed a dead tree removed ASAP. I found All Top Notch Tree Services and sent them an email message via their website and, surprisingly, they got back to me within the hour. They immediately scheduled an appointment to look at the tree and give an estimate. The estimate was very reasonable and the tree removal was done fast and efficiently. Overall they offer fast, professional service at an affordable price.
