Awesome love this sweet father daughter story. And bonus points for it being in my home state of Michigan.

Super inspiring list of places to visit. I've only been to 2, so see a lot of traveling in my future. How many have you been to?
Our world is filled with indescribable beauty, both man-made and natural, and it's hard to say whether a single lifetime would truly be enough to truly experience all of it. Most of us will probably never see everything that the world has to offer us, but it's worth a shot! Here are 40 ...

Monterey Bay aquarium love your amazing jellyfish exhibits. But the other patrons are out of control. The down side of success and a reminder I should only visit during the week.

Curious if folks are following the real names controversy Facebook is dealing with... http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/09/18/facebook-s-real-name-policy-is-a-real-drag.html
Facebook’s policy requires users’ profiles to show their real, given names—not their chosen names. It’s a policy that unfairly targets drag queens and the LGBTQ community.

I have been following a bit and experimenting. I'm finding I spend less time on other social media sites than FB and find the time actually more fulfilling. I still like the invite/photo sharing/activism on FB.

As Kitten season is upon us, anyone out there that is thinking of adopting an adorable little bundle of fuzz & love please consider.
 - Black cats are the least adopted due to black bias & superstition
 - They are not unlucky and would be great for your house
 - Older cats (including black cats) make great adoptions as they have all their adult manners, will let you sleep, and won't accidently claw up you and your belongings, kittens are still learning how to control their claws in or out. Hope this inspires you to think about the option. I was at a shelter last week and sadly 1/2 the adult cats were black and wanting a forever home.

One of the benefits of working downtown is getting to watch the sunrise over this beautiful view from San Francisco.

Sunburned Bamboo in Pots
29th Street near Broadway in Oakland

approx 9 pots of sunburned bamboo are looking for a good home. My back yard space is too sunny for them. They are roughly 10 ft high and the pots are each ~ 3 ft in diameter.

I think they will come back to being green with some trimming, water, and most importantly shade. I would like to give these away on Saturday any takers?

Solid Chinese food. Love their soups, and all their chicken dishes come with white meat chicken.

A great lunch at a reasonable price. I'm a big BBQ fan so love that they provide the shredded pork seasoned but you get to add any extra sauce you want (hot, sweet, tangy). Definitely try the macaroni & cheese as I think it's their best side.
