Hi there,
at the FOSS4G GeoScript presentation I remembered thinking it was unfortunate that GeoScript didn't integrate with the Eclipse Object/Data models.  Such an integration would offer opportunities such as:
* apply this spatial operation to all selected objects
* use this fancy function to insert a grid of new objects into the current editor
* select all objects from a particular layer that are within xx m horizontally and yy m vertically from the selected data point.

Instead, the workflow would be to load a datafile, run the operations, store the datafile, then re-open the datafile in Eclipse (uDig).

There's a rejuvenation of Eclipse scripting happening in this project:

I wonder if it provides an alternate/additional GeoScript hosting UI which would also offer integration with the currently loaded data.

Well, one day it might.

Hi all, I share the excitement regarding the 1.0 snapshot.

But, do the team have a strategy for OpenLayers 3.0?

I've no idea when the 'right time' is to start wrapping OL3.  But, is there a chance that GWT-OL requirements could be fed into the OL3 project?  I guess such requirements could ease the wrapping/exploitation.
