Jack's 10th Birthday Weekend went off really well. A little rain on the Friday meant that a trip to the park was short and I didn't get photos there, but the petting zoo on Saturday was spot on.

Happy Birthday, Jack!

A small selection of photos from a great day out with Gaz watching Rich and Karen take part in an event at Mallory Park.
There are only a small number of Rich and Karen as Rich managed to limp home to the pits after a handful of laps due to a pipe coming loose.

I am more than a little in love with the lens I rented from www.lensesforhire.co.uk, a Nikon 70-200 f2.8 VR2. Focus was amazingly quick and accurate, depth of field was so crisp at 2.8 and construction/build was tank-like. It makes my 24-70 look so small.

Most of the photos in this collection have been intentionally processed to extremes, to "add drama". Please enjoy...

We managed to grab half an hour or so in the park, (nearly) dodging the heavy downpours so that Jack could play on the playground and I could test out a cracking lens from http://lensesforhire.co.uk/ in readiness for the weekend.

The Eastnor Castle #LandRover Experience is an amazing day out. Pushing cars to their limits through deep water trenches and up the sides of very scary inclines.

I adore the architecture inside Great Witley Church http://www.greatwitleychurch.org.uk/. It makes for some stunning black and white photographs as the contrast is perfect.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the middle of the beach and next to the water slides park, fantastic! The family room we had (a double and a single bed) was one of the largest rooms I've had in a Premier Inn and was clean, tidy, modern and had a super view of the sea. The attached pub/restaurant was great. Breakfast was always very well cooked and the continental options were plentiful. Evening dinner offered a great number of options. Top marks!

Great, clean family room. We were really impressed by the quality of both the double bed and our son's single bed in the family room. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The multistorey car park over the road is pay and display and the trick is to simply insert £10 for a 24 hour ticket, easy.
