I adore the architecture inside Great Witley Church http://www.greatwitleychurch.org.uk/. It makes for some stunning black and white photographs as the contrast is perfect.

In early December I had the vreay great pleasure of photographing the wedding of Nicky and Phil. Considering the time of year they had superb weather and they both looked so very happy.

The Eastnor Castle #LandRover Experience is an amazing day out. Pushing cars to their limits through deep water trenches and up the sides of very scary inclines.

Jack's 10th Birthday Weekend went off really well. A little rain on the Friday meant that a trip to the park was short and I didn't get photos there, but the petting zoo on Saturday was spot on.

Happy Birthday, Jack!

The best baguettes in Worcester! I've recently been working in Worcester and popped in for lunch. The lovely owners were so welcoming and helpful that they got ingredients in for my choice of fillings for the next day and following days. I used to frequent this shop in the 90's so it's great to see it still going.

The fish bar recently went through a refurbishment and it's worked well. The staff are always happy, friendly, polite and ready to server. Best fish and chips in Droitwich!

Excellent service and a beautiful bouquet. I called at 9:30am and the flowers were delivered by 11:30am. :-)

I took my wife, 10 year old son and my mother-in-law here for a birthday treat. We'd booked a table for 7:30pm and after tagging a waitress we were shown to our table. The table was in a quieter area but the lighting was awful, just dim enough to induce a little tiredness. We each ordered drinks, starters and main course. Both my son and I ordered cola and both were flat. I'm sure mine was a diet cola, though it was difficult to tell as it tasted cordial heavy. The starters were OK. The main course was pretty poor. My wife's gammon steak looked and tasted like it had been heated a couple of times and was laid on the plate with the burnt side facing down. My main course was a burger and chips. The relish for the burger was on the side of the plate in a little pot, so too was the sauce for the burger - a simple trick which makes the plate look fuller. The burger itself tasted decidedly cooked from frozen, or it had been on the grill warming through for longer than it should have been. My son and mother-in-law both ordered scampi and chips and to be fair, it was perfectly OK. However, the couple next to us also ordered fish main courses and when they asked for tartare sauce the waitress replied "Oh we ran out of tartare ages ago. Everybody's been asking for it.". My thought was 'well why not tell people about the situation before they order fish dishes?'. We didn't order puddings as we all felt rather bored of waiting for the waitress (I think we had 3 waitresses through the course of the meal) and had to repeat a drinks order after the first lot didn't arrive. Value for money? Hmmm. Perhaps I'm becoming sceptical but their "two for one" offer on main courses seemed like a con. The main courses all appeared to be over priced, as though to cater for the "two for one" deal. I can and do pay far less for similar main courses elsewhere. At the end I just went to the bar, paid and then we left. We'll not be going back.

DISGRACE. My wife ordered flowers to be delivered to her sister for her birthday. The flowers did not turn up. Today we rang the company and they gave an excuse that the order must have been on their 2nd computer system and that they would get back to us. 6 hours later and no response. We've tried ringing through again and their phone is going straight to voicemail. ...Just been informed that the flowers have been delivered, 24 hours late. I've just read through the reviews posted about this company on ReviewCentre, Yell and TrustPilot, and they're all extremely negative. I've checked out the registered company address with Companies House and the Registered VAT number, both of which return different addresses. The registered company number returns an address in the middle of a bland industrial estate (no building has a relevant logo on it) and on Google Maps it shows up right next to another florist which returns to the same website. Hmmm. The registered VAT number returns an address for a plush house in the middle of the Norfolk countryside. Hmmm.
