You're missing the point pal. It's not about "living the way cavemen lived", or in most cases even replicating just their diet. It's centred on eating whole foods rather than processed foods. I've been on and off it since early May and it really works and the food is very tasty.
You can eat bacon, FFS. Any meat, as long as it isn't lashed with sugary sauce. Any veg you want. NO BEANS, which is odd, but is something to do with inflammation. NO DAIRY, but you can just soak hazelnuts in water for a few hours, then blend them and it works fine. You can have Cholula hot sauce and Tabasco sauce.
I'm talking here about the Whole 30 diet rather than flat-out Paleo, but it's "a" Paleo diet. The one stumbling block for me is the no alcohol aspect. When the 30 days is up I'm like a kid in a candy store, or an alkie in a liquor store.
You never feel hungry, and can eat as much as you like. You won't die, I promise.
