Chestnut Shelving with Glowing Inlay
http://www.adafruit.com/blog/2014/09/08/chestnut-shelving-with-glowing-inlay/

Mat Brown’s glow-in-the-dark shelving is very chic, but the excellent project documentation over on his blog is even better. So many excellent process shots! To give the inlay that glow, he added some powered pigmentation, of which there are many types available. Rather have your glow to come from electricity? You’d have a challenging time replicating this effect with LEDs, but it could be a fun experiment!

Cat Battle Armor
http://www.adafruit.com/blog/2014/01/15/cat-battle-armor/

100% wearable, flexible, and comfortable, the Cat Battle Armor is a for-reals armor harness for your kitty. Completely hand-made from durable veg-tan leather, this is no mere costume piece. Your cat will become an unstoppable force for slaughter in this fully articulated suit, shielding him/her from foes while allowing unimpeded movement across the battlefield or living room floor. The imposing torso section features several riveted, articulated plates and a terrifying rack of dorsal spines. Your cat’s hindquarters are sheathed beneath exquisitely arrayed overlapping scales stitched to a soft leather backing, adorned with nickel silver dome rivets. Midnight black scales and plates are finished with a glossy protective coat and seamlessly join together like the petals of a deadly flower. Adjustable at the collar with elastic and two nickel silver buckles, and at the belly with grommeted corset-style lacing for a secure, comfortable fit.

Note to all, if you use iPhoto for your organization, Picasa 'plays nicely' with it.

By 'plays nicely' I mean it creates read only copies you can upload here, though Picasa only looks at folders, so your Events don't mean anything.

The Picasa Web Album Exporter for iPhoto Does still work, but you will either make your albums public, or private. You can change that after it is uploaded, though.

You're Welcome.

I was talking about the Android one. Nexus 7.

I can't tell if I was looking an enlarged phone view or a shrunk tablet, but either way, it's not particularly attractive. Functional, as far as I have needed so far, yes, but not pretty.

This would be horrid!

This plus caps would kill the internet.

If Verizon and Comcast get their way.

Agree!  But you know, I was communicating and sharing with the world via BBS on Fido Net before the internet was everywhere...and if anything even remotely close to this happens, we will find other ways as well...Maybe there will become two internets...a free internet and a commercial internet.  Regardless, this is a scary thought. =/

I just put Fedora on my new (old) Dell d630.

But that's only because I'm exposed more to it over Arch, Ubuntu, Debian, Mint, etc.

What do you use and why?

The interesting thing about the news (right or left leaning) is the lack of facts.

Fox wants me to hate liberals, and love Zimmerman. CNN wants me to think the Stand Your Ground Law in FL is evil.

Let me pass these tidbits on;

Data is not the plural of anecdote; and 1 data point does not a set make.

If all you have are Talking Points from Alphabet News Networks™ then talk to some one else, I have more important things to do, like making fun of you.
