I'm only to Sweden so far. I'm terrified of what I'm going to see when I get to the US.

Edit: Well, it wasn't quite as bad as I suppose it could have been. But I'd much rather to go school in Asia.
There is a sense of apathy to the U.S., and a sort of attentiveness to Asia.

On the other hand, we don't feed our kids whales (which, besides the substantial moral questions of its acquisition, is also high in heavy metals).

But that's still kind of a cheap shot. More than anything our school lunches here are lazy.
