This video is about Madison.
Madison was born with a genetic disorder called Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. This disease primarily is in the brain, eyes, heart, kidneys, liver, lungs and skin. Maddie has 60+ tumors in her brain. She also has them in her kidneys and in her lungs. People with TSC develop epilepsy, autism, learning and behavior problems. Madison has beaten all odds and has even surprised her physicians. Madison has underwent numerous brain surgeries along with kidney surgeries. On the positive side Madison is always happy and teaching all of us a new joy everyday. Madison's family had some plumbing issues. IRV Plumbing was called out to investigate a water heater problem in the attic. Matt - The field service manager and John the service tech responded to the home of Madison. After investigation found the 11 month old water heater in the attic improperly installed and went to work. Madison's story touched both Matt and John's heart. They both knew what needed to be done. After contacting Radoslav Baldzhiev the General Manager, they put a plan in action with the help of some private donations to give Madison and her family a tankless water system. Please watch, like, and share Madison's story. We are currently trying to surprise Madison with an outdoor heavy duty industrial canopy so that Madison can be outside. Her medications do not allow her to be in direct sunlight. If you would like to join up with us in helping provide this please contact Matt.

IRV Plumbing fulfilled a wish today for Maddie. Maddie has tuberous sclerosis. A devastating genetic disorder. Maddie has 60 tumors in her brain and some in her kidneys and lungs. She and her family have endured many surgeries and enormous medical bills to care for her condition. Maddie is a very happy little girl! She doesn't have much to say, but when she talks it is with kind words. Her humor is innocent. "done yet???" in her sweet voice ....... Today, the IRV team along with a few private donations had the pleasure to provide the Crawford family a tankless water system. Maddie has a special tub that she bathes in. The tankless system provides her with never ending hot water. Later this week we will be releasing a video of today's project.. Currently there is no cure for her disease. We are opening this up to the community to pitch in and help Maddie. She can not be in direct sunlight because of her medication. We are looking for funds to purchase a heavy duty canopy tent so that Maddie can be outdoors and protected from the sun. If you would like to help with this project please contact the office and ask for Matt 866-824-4436

THE IMPORTANCE OF ANNUALLY FLUSHING YOUR WATER HEATER
For every homeowner, home maintenance is something you can not skip out on. It is important to always check up on items in your home to make sure everything is running smoothly, your water heater being one of them. It is important to flush your water heater annually due to the gradual build up of sediment in the bottom of the tank. In our Charlotte-Metro area, we have a high amount of minerals in our water and overtime will settle in the water heater and begin build up, sometimes as much as 6 inches. This will greatly reduce the efficiency of the heater and cause it to leak. The minerals will eat away the inside of the water heater.
Failure to regularly drain and flush you water heater can greatly reduce the life of the heater as much as several years.
When you become an SPP ( Service Partner Plan ) we provide an annual flush and maintenance of your water heater. This is part of the many benefits of our program. One of the solutions to minimizing the yearly flush is to install a water filtration system in your home which prevents having to flush the water heater at all! Please watch the video that has our highly trained tech Chris in the videos below. Stay tuned as we continue to keep our IRV PLUMBING & ELECTRIC family informed of the services we offer.
Give us a call and ask for Zoie so she can explain the SPP partner program.

Three things we are not suppose to flush down the ‪#‎Drain‬ Or why we should not use our ‪#‎Toilets‬ as universal ‪#‎GarbageDisposal‬
1. Never flush Q-tips - they will stop up your toilet right away. Every toilet has 2 inch s trap and Q-tip is exactly that size.
2. Never flush baby wipes - they don't disintegrate in the water and catch on the smallest obstruction in your drain, which will clog the drain and you will end up calling a plumber.
3. Do not flush any feminine products - even if the manufacturer states that these are flushable - THEY ARE NOT. They stuck inside the drain.

Don't forget to cover your outside spigot. If you have frozen pipe, it is very easy to fix it : 1. Make sure you turn the water off at the main water supply valve.
2. Pick up the phone and call your plumber: IRV Plumbing & Electric, 704-544-0200, or email us at mail@irvplumbing.com. More information is also available at www.irvplumbing.com
