Ok so this weeks selected xkcd cartoon isn't really anything much to do with programming. It shows a car mirror with a parody of the usual printed message warning against believing that what you see is physical reality.
In this case though the warning is about the blue shift in the frequency of light emitted from cars that are presumably falling back as Hubble's car accelerates - and if you don't know who Hubble is check Wikipedia.
So why was this non-programming cartoon selected? It turns out that two members  of the I Programmer team are taking the Coursera Astronomy course.
Now you know - programmers do stuff other than programming.
