Negativity Cleanse - Day 7

Hi this is your Day 7 of your 7-day Negativity Cleanse.

Today we are going to try and face your problems logically- the worry you face:
Weight all the facts that causes you the worry and DECIDE to make the change
- What causes you to worry?
- What is the worst that can happen?
- What are you going to today to improve it?
- What are the facts that cause you this worry?
- What is the best possible solution?

Today tip is: keep busy with either work or an activity you love, decide just how much anxiety a thing may be worth and refuse to give it more mind space. Count your blessings and fill your mind with thoughts gratitude, courage, health and hope.

Negativity Cleanse Day 6

Today is your Day 6 in your 7 Day negativity Cleanse

Let's start today by letting go of control – the mental clutter.
- What action would you take to let go of the one obsessions that concerns you?
- How did it feel to let go of that mental clutter or negativity – the one thing?
- When you let go of the mental clutter the one obsession, do you start to feel free or better or your mind circles back to it again?
- Notice by clearing out with the old and starting fresh, what does that feel like?
- Do you feel free and can you replace it with a new task or an action?

Today start by decluttering your house that you have wanted to do for a while, make a list of things that have been on your mind to do for a while and do them slowly –small baby steps. Write down the things that cause you negativity and look at them putting some of the things into perspective. Talk to your friends or family to put certain perspective into your letting go of the control.

Negativity Cleanse - Day 5

Change your belief’s by taking one positive action for the next few days that will benefit you.
- What will you do today to make a positive change in your life – one task?
- How will you feel when you do that task that will bring you positive results?
- What one positive thing can you do that will bring a smile on your face or make you happy?
- What can you do to prepare to do this one thing?
- What was great about today?
- What do I like most about this?
- What am I most proud of?
- What am I looking forward to?

The Positive action could be: Make a space in your house to be creative like clearing the study or the garage or buy something that will make you happy that you always wanted to. Let these sink in and feel the power of belief that you can do this.

Negativity Cleanse - Day 4

Today is your Day 4 in your 7-day Negativity Cleanse.

Cut out the toxic people in your life to change your experiences from negative to positive for the next few days. Note down in your diary:
- What past experiences of negative people that have affected you in the past?
- How can I change the way I respond to negative people?
- What challenges do you face to cut out the negative people influencing you?
- What positive experiences do you have with good friends and how did they make me feel?
- What changes can you make to be positive?

Affirmations can help you change from negative to positive so use the words ‘I can and I will’. Also, hold yourself accountable for the way you think and the way you respond. A thing you have to remember you cannot change others only yourself. Remember unjust criticism is often a disguised compliment. Do the best you can.

Day 3- 7-day Negativity Cleanse. 3. Pick one of the most common negative thoughts that comes up for you a lot and ask yourself- to interrupt the negative cycle.
- How can you change during negative thought and interrupt the negative cycle?
- What can you change with regards to your actions to interrupt the negative cycle?
- How will you feel and behave when you break that negative thought cycle?
- What can you do to set aside the negative thought cycle for today?

Today shift your focus to interrupt the negative cycle of your thought processes by saying ‘STOP’. Think of a time when you had a positive experience like a great holiday or a fun time you had in the past. List 5 things that will help you stay positive and interrupt that negative cycle e.g – leave the house to go shopping, go for a 20-min walk around the block, bake a cake, read an interesting book or have a coffee with your friend. Let me know if changing your thoughts and interrupting the negative cycle make a difference.

Negativity Cleanse - Day 2

Write down one positive habit of a person you look up to (emulate), you would like to develop.
- What would your body language be if you had this habit?
- What thoughts would you think every day if you had this habit?
- What actions would you take if you had this habit?
- What words would you say or feel if you had this habit?
- How would you look at life if you had this habit?

So DECIDE to become that person today and start to do all the things you wrote down. Focus on doing these things for the next 7 days and see how you feel when you have this habit. Let me know in the comments of what habits you choose and how did you get on.

Negativity Cleanse - Day 1

Welcome to your Day 1 - of your 7-day Negativity Cleanse.

1. Write down in your diary or a notebook the one negative thought that you have that affects your daily routine. It could be an anxious feeling about something or a fear or insecure feeling or a health concern.
- What were you doing when you had this negative thought or where were you or who were you with?
- What were you reacting to when you had this negative thought?
- What does this negative thought say to you or mean to you?
- How did the negative thought make you feel or behave or effect you?
- What actions do you take when this negative thought crosses your mind?

Today's tip is Focus your attention to see through this negative thought using a SMART technique (Stay Mindful And Reorganise Thinking). Do a different thing when you have this negative thought. Focus your attention outside of you and that situation. Contact a friend or a family member. Cook a meal or watch a movie. Let me know in the comments how today went and
