#WhiteHouse photographer #PeteSouza shares his 2014 picks for best photos. This video of President #Obama being #photographed and #3Dscanned came from it. Tom Kalil explains how #technology is allowing for objects to be created into a physical piece for exploration. Ive seen #giclee prints in a similar light. A lot of digital work goes into each print but the result is something tangible, lasting, and impactful. Its nice to see art and technology being used in this fashion.

As a content creator who prints images for artists and myself, I hold close to my heart the value to create and publish anything I desire without fear of oppression. The massacre in #france  was just that; an act to silence a group of writers and artists with extreme violence. My heart and mind goes out to all of those involved at  #charliehebdo     #wearecharlie   #jesuischarlie

Myself: Jeff Fina
While serving in Iraq in 2004, I became interested in visual arts. I began learning photography and graphic design between missions while working in a trial version of photoshop. Arriving home in 2005, I enrolled in college to study visual arts. I found I had a deep passion for digital graphics as well as their eventual output on screen and on paper. While in college, I began an internship under Artist and Professor Bruce Bleach where I gained a valuable understanding and appreciation for the fine arts.

In 2007, I was selected to represent Orange County Community College for a National Endowment of the Arts scholarship lead by sculptor Greg Wyatt along with a handful of students around the country. During this once in a lifetime trip, I met brilliant people and acquired a bigger appreciation for fine arts.

In 2008, I formally established Hudson Valley Giclee.

Today, I continue to grow my printing and design work while also growing my family with my wife Alicia. I continue to work with Bruce Bleach on various endeavors as well as work on my own personal portfolio which can be viewed at Tinderbax.com

I'm the director of the Wallkill River School and Art Gallery and 90% of our business comes through our printed matter. We rely on Jeff Fina to make us look good in glossy brochures and printed postcards on recycled stock. Jeff works promptly and meticulously to deliver a high-quality art product at a very reasonable price. We are happy to reccomend him whenever we can.

We went to a gallery showing in Warwick last weekend and it was the first time that I have viewed fine art - giclee style! Pen and Ink drawings. It sounds so simplistic yet they each offer such depth and soul. You can view local artist, Tom Denaro's work at the Albert Wisner Library through the entire month of March 2010. Experience Art like never before! Printing courtesy of Hudson Valley Giclee! Well done indeed.
