You know, this ordinance to limit the lives of LGBTQ community is completely unconstitutional.

Historically, The Deep South has never agreed with the US Constitution.  That's why they created the Confederacy.  The Civil War took place to UNITE our country, and they retaliated by creating the KKK.  That group justifies hating anyone not White, Anglo-Saxon Protestant and male.  I'm Jewish.  They hate Jews because we don't worship Jesus.  They hate Muslims, and Islamics and Buddhists and any other non-Christian religious group for the same reason.  They hate gays for some similar excuse.  They have something against Natives, blacks, Asians.  All for the same excuses.  They're not them.

They segregated schools, bathrooms, buses, and anything else they could get away with, because the KKK paid off the cops, and some of the cops were members of the KKK themselves.

The Bible allows them to justify their hate toward everybody.  The KKK causes trouble  you shouldn't have to face in a free country.

I don't have solutions, because I don't have words to describe how angry I feel this is going on.  I just wish it would stop.

South Dakota Gov. Daugaard to Meet With Trans Youth Ahead of Decision on Signing Discriminatory Bill
Today, HRC responded to the news that South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard will meet with transgender students before making his decision on whether to sign HB 1008 – outrageous legislation that would prevent trans students in public schools from using restrooms and other facilities consistent with their gender identity.

South Dakota Legislature Unleashes Second Attack On Trans Kids In Just Two Days
As the nation waits to see if Governor Dennis Daugaard will veto the vile piece of legislation targeting transgender children that the South Dakota Senate passed yesterday, today the state’s House State Affairs Committee voted 8 to 4 to advance yet another shameful attack on trans kids.

They feel they can get away with this for several reasons... It's boomtown built by the gas frack industry which has a HUGE amount of this past vendors with conservative contribution backgrounds, an extremely high population of mostly heterosexual men, an active prostitution/gambling base, high numbers of bars/motels, (absolutely horrible, horrible weather though which is why is next to impossible to attract educated anyones), and so most of these components have led to a kind of Olde Tymey West culture. LGBTQIA? Mainly on the down low, but otherwise, no. It's more beers and steers, minus the overt queers. Notice the word 'overt'. For some really dark and perverse reason, there are dudes that really, really like pretending to be upstanding, married men with kids of the community and then have secret circle jerk parties. Go figure...

Tennessee Lawmakers Advance Symbolic Anti-Marriage Equality Resolution
Today, HRC and Tennessee Equality Project decried a resolution advancing in the Tennessee State Legislature. Without debate in an entirely symbolic voice vote yesterday, the House Civil Justice Committee advanced House Joint Resolution (HJR) 529, a resolution that allows lawmakers to express their animosity for the Supreme Court’s ruling in favor of nationwide marriage equality last June.
