Today, U.S. District Judge Orlando Garcia ruled that Texas’ ban on marriage for lesbian and gay couples is unconstitutional in the lawsuit brought by Cleopatra DeLeon, Nicole Dimetman, Vic Holmes and Mark Phariss who were represented by the law firm Akin Gump. The ruling is stayed pending appeal, meaning marriages will not occur immediately in the state.
The Texas ruling comes on the heels of a year-long string of electoral, judicial and legislative victories for marriage equality. Recently the New Mexico Supreme Court and federal district judges in Virginia, Utah, Oklahoma, Ohio and Kentucky have ruled in favor of marriage for lesbian and gay couples.

You've probably heard by now about the "License to Discriminate" bill passed by the Arizona legislature last week. #SB1062
The bill, which would give any business or individual a license to discriminate against lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender people, is before Arizona Governor Jan Brewer, who vetoed a similar bill last year.
No one in Arizona should fear being turned away at a government office, a restaurant, or any other business that serves the public just because of who they are.
Add your name to the petition below, and stand with all Arizonans against the "License to Discriminate" bill today – before Gov. Brewer makes her decision!

Nah I think it's definately a severe case of ignorance. He is showing signs of all of the related symptoms.
It's just pathetic that he attempts to justify it by claiming they are inferior. Regardless of that they should focus their attention where it matters such as starvation etc... not criminalising people based on who they choose to love.
So if these countries should be left to make their own laws up then maybe we should leave them completely and deny all aid then if this is his idea that the west should not interfere with the country.

“With today’s veto, Governor Brewer spared her state from institutional discrimination and economic catastrophe. Make no mistake, there is no better way to doom jobs in a state than by signing license-to-discriminate bills,” said Human Rights Campaign (HRC) President Chad Griffin. “The bipartisan outpouring of opposition to this bill is all the proof you need that this country isn't turning backwards. Governor Brewer did the right thing in stopping this assault on businesses and the LGBT community and we call on her and the legislature--and governors and legislators in other states--to resist any attempt to give license to discrimination.”-HRC President Chad Griffin
