Hughes Mechanical

Tankless or Not to be tankless!
They never run out of hot water.
They last five to 10 years longer than tank heaters.
They're more efficient with no standby heat loss.
They take up less space and can even be installed on walls or outdoors with an anti-freeze kit..
You can shave as much as 22% from your water heating bill. That translates into a savings of around $70 to $80 per year. A 199 to 195 kbtu size unit with an AFUE of 98% can put out up to 4 gpm of hot water. Thats a bought 3 Faucets at one time or 1) big 3 gallon per minute shower head and 1 sink faucet. As a Rinnai Dealer for the Stapleton area, I get a lot of calls to service Tankless water heaters. I am Impressed with the Rinnai as many times there is not a bad part but just a cleaning issue. I always find miller moths stuck in the draft motor housing. 2 screws and some compressed air usually solves the problem. Other failures include power outage during winter storm resulting in frozen and split pipes on patio closet installs. and condensation in gas valve from a poorly done installation.

What sets HMS Apart from the rest. We Practice Perfection and take no short cuts when we service or install your HVAC or Plumbing system. For years I watched other HVAC techs and installers take short cuts like
1. Not wrapping the valve with a wet towel when brazing or soldering.
2. Not purging nitrogen gas down copper pipe when brazing to prevent oxidation.
3. Not Leak Checking or using a micrometer when pulling A vacuum on you AC system.
4. Not checking duct load along with the heat load of your home. Most homes have duct sized for heating but not Necessarily for cooling.
5. At Hughes Mechanical your system will be installed by the licensed technician not an apprentice. Did you know that 90% of the HVAC and plumbing servicing companies have apprentices or journeymen running the service calls. next time you call a HVAC or plumbing service company ask if the tech they are sending has his or her master plumbers or master mechanical / supervisor license
