Got to shoot a really great family from New York on Friday and had a great time. We were out on the golf course fairway for this shot and they were all facing the tee behind me. I heard the guy wack the ball and then heard it hit the ground near me and they said it just missed my head. Hey, sometimes you might have to get a few bruises to get the cool shots. And don't worry, none of the family members were actually harmed in the shooting.

Looking to the Future.

This is from a high school senior photo shoot. I saw this cool sculpture with three faces, made out of metal and about 10 feet tall. To make my subject appear to be the fourth face I positioned her about 20 feet in front of the sculpture to get the perspective right.

The Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies in Orlando, Florida. I shot this about 20 minutes after sunset with the full moon lighting the sky so this almost looks like a daytime photo, except the lights are on.

I shot this waterfall at Rainbow Springs, and surprisingly, in Florida. Who knew we had waterfalls in Florida.

For those of you who are asking yourself how someone goes about taking a 15-second exposure in bright sunshine? Simple, just stick a neutral density filter on the lens. I used a 10-stop filter which is so dark you can't see through it. It's like putting sunglasses on your camera.

Frozen in Time

These photos were shot at Fort Christmas Historical Park in Christmas, Florida. The park has a recreation of the original fort along with several homes, circa the late 1800s.

We were treated to a beautiful sunset over the lake last night. I shot this about 20 minutes after the sun had dipped below the horizon so the lamps had come on.

It always makes me laugh when I'm shooting a sunset and there are others gathered around and as soon as the sun disappears they clap and walk away. They always miss the most amazing part.

I took this photo of the Florida Hospital a few nights ago about 15 minutes after the sun had set below the horizon. You can see the glowing colors of the sunset in the reflection in the building.
