Yesterday, I got to try Meng's Kitchen food truck for the first time, parked at Northeastern. Because of the great prices, I got to try a good sampling of what they have. There's a Chinese beef sandwich there, steamed pork bun and tofu curd soup. The soup was the weakest of the 3, really needed some kind of kick to it, a little spice. Not terrible, but not something I would go back to. Perhaps a non carnivore would appreciate it more . The pork bun was very tasty, quite flavorful ground pork inside the doughy bun. The beef sandwich was simple. Well seasoned with some cilantro and scallion on it. All 3 items only cost $5.75 total, a great bargain. As far as the menu goes, you can get the sandwich with pork, there was a mixed bean congee and tea egg.
