What would you say is the messiest room in your home? For me, it's the kitchen. No matter how many times I clean or declutter it, it always ends up cluttered again. sigh
I'm still following the KonMari Method and, I think you'll agree from the pictures, it's still making a big difference in my life and in my home.

+Stuffy McCuffin Thank you. I didn't actually plan on keeping it short -- I just wanted one last pixie before I let it grow out again -- but I love it so I'm gonna stick with it for the foreseeable.
Oh, and I hated my first pixie too (about 10 years ago), so maybe it all depends on the person cutting it!

Anyone else use a sh*t list? Mine is made up of action steps from my master list (or my 'things I'd do with infinite resources' list), and then I use those steps to populate my bonus list, which gets tacked onto my to-do list.
Too many lists? 🤣

I know a few of you have started the KonMari Method for the new year, so here's how I fared when I re-started the process with the clothes category last year. It contains a free downloadable checklist for all the categories, including a detailed breakdown of each. Hopefully it will help. =)
So, who's doing it and how far have you got?
I tackled the KonMari Method -- 'Clothes'. See how I fared, how long it took me, what I learned, what advice I'd give, and why I decided to do it twice.

This is a book I've recommended before and I've just spotted that the Kindle version is on sale (not sure how long it will last). So if you're interested in how habits are formed and how to change them, snap it up!
The UK version is £1.73: click the pic below
And the US version is $2.10: http://buff.ly/2j70Wni

This day last year I was on the radio with 2fm's Breakfast Republic. Today, I'm in my pyjamas folding a mountain of clothes. 😂

I'm reasonably ruthless when it comes to Scout's artwork, and she doesn't create much of it anyway (she was never hugely into painting or colouring), but I know it's a huge issue for others so thought I'd share. One thing I do need, though, is an effective "in-tray" for random papers so they don't end up scattered throughout the house.
The number of questions I get about kids artwork is truly insane — apparently every parent and grandparent everywhere is looking for a way to reduce the amount of paper from their children and grandchildren's art projects, paintings, drawings, crafts, and other special projects.. Although we are just in ...

Delighted to hear so many of you are embracing minimalism this year. It never hurts to remove clutter from your life, physical or otherwise. Make like a museum and choose only the best for yourself.
How much stuff is "too much"? And is minimalist living even possible with children? I answer those questions (and give you a free resource guide) inside:
