LEGO THOSE EGGOS!! Kellogg has issued a 25-state-wide voluntary recall of 10,000 cases of Eggo Waffles due to a potential (and serious!) Listeria contamination.

Good thing we have the the Food Safety Modernization Act- according to The Washington Post major foodborne outbreaks in the US have more than tripled in the last 20 years!

The fabulous folks at the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) have boiled down the onslaught of psychological & marketing strategies aimed at food purchasing decisions into a quick video that shows how even the best intentioned & most disciplined people are affected, often without realizing it.

(Can't help but wonder how different this would be if our food ratings program were considered!)
