Facing unending rioting that has spread to other cities, London deployed 16,000 police in the largest show of force in the city's history. British Prime Minister David Cameron cut short a ho...

Interesting article about one man's bad experience with Chinese culture in China. David Sedaris would eat Chinese food – but only as an alternative to starving. http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2011/jul/15/david-sedaris-chinese-food-chicken-toenails?CMP=twt_gu

Watch out Facebook – Google+ has a number of superior features, and they’re like to continue even as the new platform grows more popular.

Funny, this other post came out today, and feels like a companion piece

http://technologyspectator.com.au/emerging-tech/social-media/googlebot-all-seasons

Isn't not filtering, but sorting the same thing as EdgeRank in a way though? I don't use FB, but it sounds like if G+ is going to start "sorting", and assuming you'll have a lot of people you're following, it'll start serving up content you might like / want, and not something to "challenge" your views, or what you "need".
