And they did!@NYAutoShow- Mustang Revived! ;)

It's not an urban legend: In 1965, we put a #FordMustang  on top of the Empire State Building & we’re doing it again

On April 16-17, we're celebrating 50 years of continuous pony car production by bringing the all-new Ford Mustang convertible to the Empire State Building’s 86th floor observatory.

Visitors to the observation deck can get up close and personal with the new Mustang convertible from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m., April 16-17.

Will you be joining us there?

#winefriday: 14 : Lidl Mix – another hit with Old World Trio
Posted on 3 April 2014 by Ian Jarman

Back to Lidl for this mix of Old World wines from Italy, France and Spain.

Soave Classico 2012, 11.5% abv, Giovanni Murello, £3.99

Pale gold/yellow. Crisp mineral attack and fresh stone fruit palate from the Garganega grape. Quite light in weight but with a subtle expression of peach and earthy herbs. Made a good partnership with River Cobbler and lentils. Bottled and distributed by Vineris, Moers, Germany.

Bordeaux Rose 2012, 12.5% abv, £4.29

A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Pale ‘Tizer’ orange/pink/salmon colour. Hints of ripe strawberries on the nose, but austere/dumb initial entry, developing more distinct red fruit nuances on the mid palate. Dry and lean in expression, finishing clean and fresh. This wine went well with the robust flavours of beef burgers and pickled gherkin relish. Bottled by Leroy Chevalier in Blanquefort, France.

Cepa Lebrel Rioja Reserva 2009, 13.5% abv, £5.39

Dark red/garnet colour. Nose of cream and vanilla mixed with dark fruit notes. Smooth, elegant entry emphasising the fruit character, but harnessed by a soft, almost velvety edge. Full-bodied with some persistence and follow through. Creamy finish and moderate length. Aged for 36 months, 18 of which in oak, hence the subtle background vanillin flavours. Coped well with traditional roast beef, gravy and horseradish. Bottled by Fuenmayor in Spain.

Nice little trio this, giving reasonable flavour and value at the price, and showing the Old World as it should be: reliable and satisfying.

I live my online days working with a very "CrowdedChrome" on an 18month old MacBookPro - 22 tabs open today, all of which are running as their own little op systems, if my understanding of Google is correct. Since Big G created this monster, why did they not make it capable of working under it's own duress? Why does it not recognise what is "too many", and suspend some, based on "last active"? How can it be managed better?.....

Totally agree with above. We visited early evening on Friday 5th October 2012 - staff were very attentive, wine was superb, food even better - great range of both! Truly Italian hospitality, and I fell in love on the friendly sofa we could retire to after the meal to make it a very enjoyable evening - yes, fully recommend La Primavera to anyone - will certainly be returning!

Superb menu, separate restaurant, attentive staff, great value AND log fires in winter! Visited on Monday 29th November 2010. Look for the Specials Boards for additional info over & above menus on the website. Easy parking; a true hidden gem of the Cotswolds, close to Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway.

Convenience & Value 7 miles from Exeter City Centre! Clean, comfortable bedrooms. Great food in the pub & a range of real ales - Shane's homemade pies are very well reported! Superb breakfast too! The only downsides were shared toilet/shower-room & street parking, but would certainly use again & thoroughly recommend!
