After another Thursday night B/X game session, I was really struck by how a bit of game prep makes just a world of difference in how the DM options provided make the game feel more smooth to play, and how what seems like infinite choices in an open world can be guided and managed without appearing 'heavy handed', forced, or railroad-ish.
