The ZenWatch 2 is an attractive device, but it sure does have a lot of bezel/dead space surrounding the display... #ASUS   #ZenWatch2   #AndroidWear   #IFA2015   #AppleWatch
It seems like eons ago, but in early June, ASUS first announced its second generation Android Wear smartwatch, the ZenWatch 2. The ZenWatch 2 doesn’t stray to far away from the original when it comes to styling, but it does offer quite a few more design options to appease a broader group of people. The ZenWatch 2 is powered by a Qualcomm

GPUs and beer a winning combination? I'll drink to that! #NVIDIA   #GPU   #beer   #homebrew
If there's one thing I love, it's beer and graphics. Alright - that might be two things, but when I have beer on the mind, it tends to override other less important brain processes. I imagine it's quite hard, too, for Jason Cohen, CEO of Analytical Flavor Systems. He has to do his job without overdoing the ice cold brews. But, his resistance

Rather than just the usual assortment of bugfixes and security patches, the Threshold 2 update is expected to bring some actual functional improvements to Windows 10. #Microsoft   #Windows10   #Threshold2
It looks like the non-patch update for Windows 10 may be arriving a little later than expected. The update, known as Threshold 2, appears to be moving from an early October release to a November release. The update is expected to bring with it some stability-related improvements and few minor new features, but the one-month delay isn’t likely

Tesla Motors Model III: $35,000, March 2016 unveil, 2017 Production*

*Dependent on Gigafactory getting up to speed in time #Tesla   #ModelIII   #ElonMusk   #Gigafactory
Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk knows how to keep his company in the headlines. Earlier this week, the company’s Model X crossover made headlines when it was announced that pre-orders have opened for select customers. Although it was readily apparent to us what exactly Tesla was doing when it announced pricing for the Model X Signature Series,

Leave it to John Legere to find a way to turn Verizon's announcement of a logo change into an opportunity to promote the "Uncarrier" #Verizon   #TMobile   #JohnLegere   #VerizonLogo   #Uncarrier
Perhaps it says something about my smart aleck personality, but I continue to enjoy T-Mobile CEO John Legere's antics. Admittedly his brand of humor is an acquired taste, one that's detestable if you're on the receiving end, as evidenced by a Twitter spat between Legere and Sprint boss Marcelo Claure.earlier this summer. But it isn't Sprint

Hoping they add favorites sync across edge, fix the one instance only of edge (big issue across virtual desktops), fix photo app cause it sucks, fix mail app cause it sucks, add ability to not install driver updates automatically.

Start menu bug where is you click on all apps and then try to type to search for something, search doesn't come up even after you go back to the main start menu. You have to close start and reopen to search.

Lots of things TH2 can, and should but probably won't address.

Samsung has announced an Ultra HD Blu-ray player to satisfy film fanatics that can't handle compression artifacts from streaming content. #Samsung   #UHDBluray   #UltraHD   #UltraHDBluray
Samsung had lots to show off at the IFA event in Berlin, and while some of the focus was on high-def TVs as we'd expect, there was also an unveiling of a product we might not have expected: An "Ultra HD" Blu-ray player. As hard as it might be to believe, Blu-ray content has now been available on the market for over eight years, and admittedly,

Amazon attempts to get its Dash buttons into the hands of more customers. #Amazon   #AmazonDash   #AmazonPrime
Imagine you've just finished doing your business in the bathroom only to find an empty roll of toilet paper. It's at that point an unsettling fact dons on you -- you forgot to pick up another package of rolls when you were at the store. Uh oh, spaghetti-o! This unfortunate situation can be avoided with Amazon's Dash Button program, which incidentally
