Great location. Staff was polite and helpful. Love that the minibar and snacks are all from local businesses. Didn't get to try out many amenities on my short, one night stay, but I will be returning!

Went to Hotel deLuxe for the movie night on top of the parking garage. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed the hotel as well as we got drinks before the film. Very classy and clean. All the employees were friendly and smiling. Will go back.

Hotel deLuxe is a great venue for meetings and dinner. The most recent event I attended was the SEMPDX Rooftop Party sponsored by Moz. This business party of 450 attendees returned to Hotel deLuxe after a couple years in another location and I prefer Hotel deLuxe. The hotel also has a great bar and dining. We spent a fun New Year's Eve there and I've attended other business functions there. I cannot comment on the overnight rooms as I've never stayed there.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Not recommended for people with or 4-5 star standards. First, it's a 3 star at best. A few standout issues: Noise: you will not get a good night sleep here. Walls paper thin, flooring above echoes ("what the heck are they dropping?") and city location - public transit, drunk screamers at 3am, and the 405 highway. Room size: TINY - I'll call it closetesque. Unless you upgrade to a suite, you will be bumping elbows and storing bathroom counter items on your TV. Noise: did I mention the noise? This AC is old and rattles. Temperature: speaking of AC/heat, the rooms are so small, it's best to just keep them off. Either freezing and wind blown or sweating and wet. View: Don't think you will be gazing at the Willamette river. The windows are for natural light only. Open curtain reveals the rich texture and warmth of brown brick walls. The staff is nice. 3 star staff. There's a quality about genuine eagerness to make your stay especially comfortable that the desk, bar and restaurant workers lacked. Just employees looking toward end of shift. If you can get a good deal for under $100 at this hotel, go for it. Bring ear plugs, a wind breaker and pack light. But once you get into the $150's for a room here, move on. Or spend the $50 more and get a real 4-5 star somewhere else in Portland.

We were in the screening room for a 50th anniversary party, service was great, food not so much I had the risotto, which was really just a rice dish. It did have that wonderful creaminess risotto should have. The men's bathroom was out of order so they had to go upstairs to a room. The first time they went they walked in on someone in the bath
