Should've stayed home. Don't let the modern facade and charming receptionless lobby fool you. This place is not upscale nor a 3.5 star hotel. Recently remodeled in 1968, with broken A/C, a broken Jacuzzi, noisy area (six floors up), hard water, terrible bartenders, dilapidated beds...this place needs to be razed.

We've stayed here twice this year, most recently for our birthday weekend on July18th. I can't say enough good things about this establishment, but my favorite is the 20% discount for New Mexico residents!

This is a fast, friendly and clean place to stay. It might not have new carpet and a glass chandeliers but it is a Mexican theme and it does a great job at that. The pool and returaunt are awesome. The food is great and the menu has a great variety. Also there is a bar and club inside that is great as well. This is the place to go if you have a big party or a family ordeal. The only thing I would gripe about is all the rooms do not have flat panels. It is the year 2015. They only cost 200 bucks now. I would recommend this to a friend or family.

Nice looking. Horrible check in desk clerk. Very small blurry TV. Never again.

hotel was nice but the staff was uselss, ordered an amenity from room service which was never sent, the next day when I spoke to the Front Desk they said they would resend it free of charge, next day still NOTHING, by this point I gave up with room service but when checking out I had to re-inform the front desk that not only was the amenity never recieved they charged me for it twice. Front desk assured me it would be taken off, but as soon as I recieved the final bill both charges still had not been removed, so then I had to call the hotel and request the Front Desk manager to explain our experience. The Front Desk manager was not much more help, he informed that there was nothing he could do even tho I was calling the same day, he stated he would have the room service manager contact us by the next day but a week later and still no call. I would not recommend anyone waisting there time with this hotel.

Highly overrated...look elsewhere. The evening desk staff were rude, the hotel does not have the usual amenities associated with a 4 star hotel (as is rated here) and all food service closes down at 11:00 pm. Good luck finding an ice or vending machine. The room that we stayed in was...interesting. The bathroom sink would have overflowed if we had not intervened due to incredibly slow drainage, the shower head kept dripping even after being shut off, the rubber mat in the tub was torn and floated around the tub unless one was standing on it (kind of like surfing) and the toilet ran on and off all night. There was hair in the bathroom sink (not ours), the grout around the sink was cracked and dirty. We stepped outside at one point late in the evening to walk our dog and two men in a vehicle parked just outside of the entrance were having a very heated argument. They did not appear to be guests and quite frankly it was a surprise that no one seemed to notice them as they were very loud. The security guards were on indoor computers at the time. This hotel is quaint in a sleazy sort of way. Don't waste your money. I gave this hotel two stars because it is still standing.

Nice hotel. I need a plug by the bed to charge my phone/alarm clock but they didn't have one. Bed firmness is a personal preference but for me the bed was too hard and the pillows were very uncomfortable. All of the employees were fantastic. They were very kind always willing to help. The level of service made this visit great.

This place is the epitome of mediocre. Wow, we expected so much more from this place. The good - pet friendly and free wifi The rest - we got into our room and it smelled quite odd. It looked clean but not sure how long it had been since they had actually used products to assure it was clean. At this price point we also expected an in-room fridge. Not so. We've been traveling across the country and had cleaner rooms with the fridge (for $50 less). This was the most expensive stop we had. When we made the reservation they never sent us an email confirmation and we had to call again to get that to assure they even had our reservation. Not very organized there. The lobby is has cool decor and the little gift shop has some fun trinkets. Stay away from Garduno's inside unless you just want a few drinks. We expected at least good Mexican food and it was far below average. Everything was incredibly "watered-down" like it was designed for tourists that aren't used to authentic Mexican cuisine with flavor. We're checking out shortly and will hit something on the way out for breakfast. Skip this one, there are plenty of other hotels in the area.
