I never got to stay at this hotel because of the inept reservations agent I had to deal with. I called in August to reserve two rooms for one night on November 07,2015. I asked for the AARP discount and was quoted $125.00 for each room plus tax. She said that she would send me a confirmation. I got my confirmation a few minutes later and it said the amount was $154.00 plus tax. I called back to point out the error and the reservation agent said no, that's correct, $154.00 plus tax. I reminded her that we had just spoken a few minutes ago and she told me $125.00 plus tax. She argued that she had not told me that. I said that I wanted to talk to someone else and she asked me to hold. She came back to the phone approximately 8 minutes later and said I could have the $125.00 rate. She sent me a confirmation on Friday afternoon which was correct in all ways. On Monday morning I received another confirmation in my email which had been sent later on Friday which said all four adults would be in one room. So I called back AGAIN and spoke with the same lady and pointed out the error. She apologized and said that she would correct it and send me another confirmation for two rooms, one night, $125.00 plus tax for each room. So I get the final confirmation with a price of $126.00 for each room. At this point I was livid, it's not the one dollar difference but the fact that I have spend WAY over a half hour on the phone trying to do something I have done hundreds of times at cheaper hotels. This was to be a special night enjoying a visit with family I haven't seen for over ten years. I called one more time to ask for the manager. I was sent to a voice mail and left a message that I was unhappy and needed to speak with a person with authority to do something correctly for me. I actually want to cancel my reservation but don't have any confidence that will happen, based on what has occurred so far. I also want to cancel because I have zero confidence the rooms would even be available when I arrive. Unbelievable.

Has an old charm about it The hotel and room were clean and smelled refreshing, friendly staff, large outdoor pool with a beautiful garden and lovely outdoor patio.

This hotel had high expectations for me, and I was underwhelmed in every respect. Although the decor was nice, it was a bit outdated, and being that I'm a bigger guy, the desk chair was definitely not made for me. But this is only the tip of the iceberg. Upon arriving, I find that the parking lot was full, and seemed to continue that way throughout the weekend. My rental car was forced to sit in the adjacent dirt lot during the first night. But it was the service that really takes the cake. The lobby bathroom was out of paper towels, and when I went to tell the front desk about the issue, they said they would get to it. They did not offer me any paper towels during the interim, and there were still no paper towels a few hours later. Now here comes the good part. I can tell that this hotel has a certain notability as a nightclub place to hang out, as their bar made very clear. However a group took their party to the hotel floors, and completely making the stay miserable. I complained to the front desk twice before they were finally kicked out. They also moved me from the 2nd floor to the 8th floor, although I would've rather taken a discount on the current room. This new room on the 8th floor had constant problems with the room door, and it wouldn't accept my card. All the front desk did was replace the card, but I was still having issues. This evening I thought would be better, but lo and behold, ANOTHER party kept me up until 2 am. again I complained to the front desk, and this time they did nothing about it. All their security guard did basically was agree with me that this was a rambunctious group. both rooms were located in the space spot laterally, which had a door to the adjoining room, so EVERYTHING in the other room could be heard. I will NOT be returning here ever again. I wouldn't even recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Having stayed here for my best friend's wedding recently, I can not say enough WONDERFUL things about this hotel! The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious, the accommodations were impeccable, and the reception hall is massive and beautiful! One of the managers Matt was exceptionally friendly and provided top service to ensure the weekend went as smooth as possible! Will definitely fly back and return another time (that time around I'll jump in the pool!)

I liked the hotel itself. The place has charm, and the club is pretty great at night. I wasn't impressed with the staff, who seemed to be barely trained.

Stayed here for 3 nights in April 2014 and no complaints. I read reviews of it being noisy at weekends but we stayed Sunday to Wednesday and it was quiet. Car park huge and no problem with parking. Room large sized, clean and comfy. Staff great, very friendly. Lovely atmosphere, and hotel.

We had a wonderful one night stay at this beautiful hotel. A special nod of appreciation goes to the housekeeping staff and their supervisor, Barbara Apodaco. My wife left her purse with all credit cards and a debit card within. Before we arrived back home in Garland, Tx. Barbara had left a message on the home recorder telling us of our error. She arranged the return immediately and we rceived it the following day---perfectly intact. A million hanks. Eldon and Iris
