Having stayed here for my best friend's wedding recently, I can not say enough WONDERFUL things about this hotel! The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious, the accommodations were impeccable, and the reception hall is massive and beautiful! One of the managers Matt was exceptionally friendly and provided top service to ensure the weekend went as smooth as possible! Will definitely fly back and return another time (that time around I'll jump in the pool!)

This hotel had high expectations for me, and I was underwhelmed in every respect. Although the decor was nice, it was a bit outdated, and being that I'm a bigger guy, the desk chair was definitely not made for me. But this is only the tip of the iceberg. Upon arriving, I find that the parking lot was full, and seemed to continue that way throughout the weekend. My rental car was forced to sit in the adjacent dirt lot during the first night. But it was the service that really takes the cake. The lobby bathroom was out of paper towels, and when I went to tell the front desk about the issue, they said they would get to it. They did not offer me any paper towels during the interim, and there were still no paper towels a few hours later. Now here comes the good part. I can tell that this hotel has a certain notability as a nightclub place to hang out, as their bar made very clear. However a group took their party to the hotel floors, and completely making the stay miserable. I complained to the front desk twice before they were finally kicked out. They also moved me from the 2nd floor to the 8th floor, although I would've rather taken a discount on the current room. This new room on the 8th floor had constant problems with the room door, and it wouldn't accept my card. All the front desk did was replace the card, but I was still having issues. This evening I thought would be better, but lo and behold, ANOTHER party kept me up until 2 am. again I complained to the front desk, and this time they did nothing about it. All their security guard did basically was agree with me that this was a rambunctious group. both rooms were located in the space spot laterally, which had a door to the adjoining room, so EVERYTHING in the other room could be heard. I will NOT be returning here ever again. I wouldn't even recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

We had a great conference visit at this hotel. Nice rooms, great pool, wonderful staff! My wifi access was good, loved the Margaritas, and the dining prices were quite good as was the food. The location near Old Town and the museums is a big plus. The gardens are beautiful. Reading other reviews, I did not have any of those problems. My room was clean, staff was very polite (every housekeeper made a point of saying good morning in the hall). I have stayed at the St. Francis in Santa Fe as well, and this is a good hotel chain.

Stayed here for 3 nights in April 2014 and no complaints. I read reviews of it being noisy at weekends but we stayed Sunday to Wednesday and it was quiet. Car park huge and no problem with parking. Room large sized, clean and comfy. Staff great, very friendly. Lovely atmosphere, and hotel.

We had a wonderful one night stay at this beautiful hotel. A special nod of appreciation goes to the housekeeping staff and their supervisor, Barbara Apodaco. My wife left her purse with all credit cards and a debit card within. Before we arrived back home in Garland, Tx. Barbara had left a message on the home recorder telling us of our error. She arranged the return immediately and we rceived it the following day---perfectly intact. A million hanks. Eldon and Iris

We stayed there for a Firefighter Christmas Party, which we do every year. When we walked into our room, we noticed that there was a big crack in the mirror on the closet door. I should have called the front desk to report it, but I didn't, figured it was already probably already known. Well 2 days later, i was checking my bank account, and noticed a $250 charge, so of course I called to ask what this charge was. They said that we broke the mirror! I have been back and forth on talking to different people at the hotel, and they are still accusing us of doing it. They said if the room was like that before, they would not have allowed anybody to stay in it until it was fixed. Well obviously, they didn't, and rented it to us! If I had done something, I would have taken full responsibility for it, but I nor my husband broke the mirror! I hardly doubt that it costs that much to replace anyways. Horrible customer service, and they never notified us of this accusation, and just charge the $250. I will and have notified all of our Firefighter family of this incident so they know better than to rent a room and be charged for things they have not done!

What a disappointing experience. I booked the room for a friend from out of town based on the pictures on their web page. When my friends got there they were greeted by below average hotel desk staff who informed them that the pool and amenities were not open to the public...yet. HUH. Why pay 180 per night for that! They stayed on the 8th floor. Apparently the hot water doesnt reach that floor, so no showers in the AM. When my friends pointed this out to the hotel desk staff, again, a nod of, OH WELL, you need to wait a long time for the cold water to "turn hot", Well I hear the Embassy Suites is cheaper and you are guaranteed a pleasant stay.
