Great location and atmosphere. Reasonably priced beers. Mostly offer the standard smattering of styles (IPAs, German styles, porters, one sour), but the quality is high and consistent. They also have a good coffee/espresso selection. Currently, a large projector is showing film of people cooking and eating a large tarantula -- this is neither here nor there. Highly recommended if you're in east Austin.

Seems popular with nearby residents. Decent setting with reasonable beer, but relatively lackluster value - typically >$5 per traditional style beer (not high ABV/aged/soured), and no keeping the glass. Per the website, no dogs inside - probably shouldn't bring your dog, then, since there was a distinct lack of shade or any other cooling measures outside on the limited patio on a recent hot summer afternoon. We've visited a few times to see if it'd grow on us, but it lags among the burgeoning Austin brewery scene.

Don't come for the core beers that you can find at any local grocery store. The taproom has ten or so rotating small batch taps that blow the regular beers out of the water. The taproom is spacious and clean and the staff is friendly. The imperial IPA from the dispensary series is worth a trip by itself!

Thank you for the review Jonathan! Glad to hear you enjoy our variety of beers offered in the Tap Room. Hope to host you again soon! Cheers!

Good beer, great happy hour. Amazing rotating selection. I took the brewery tour, learned a lot about the company itself. Definitely a place I can get behind. Come here!

Great staff and beer. I recommend doing the tour, because they do things a little differently than most breweries I've visited (using tap water and giving away a portion of their profits). I like every beer they serve (especially Zoe and Porter Culture)

Citrusy IPA's, not just bitter bombs. All around great quality (and well balanced) brews especially for someone looking to bridge into craft brew from bud.

Thanks for the 5 star review Matthew! We look forward to hosting you again soon! Cheers!
