KXAN stopped by the brewery to discuss the upcoming changes in store once the latest beer legislation goes into effect. As you can see, we're pretty stoked about it!

In a bit of an odd location at the back of an industrial warehouse complex, this little gem is worth a visit. Specializing in hops (clever name eh?) the many beers focus on the plant that made beer famous. Very good mosaic IPA, the greenhouse IPA features different hop varieties each batch. Very friendly people and $10 for a glass and four pours is a pretty good deal in my book!

I absolutely love the beer here. Every time I come to Austin, this place is my first and/or last stop from the airport. The pale ales and IPAs are very crisp and clean. The Kentucky Common is a nice classic American beer that you don't see many other people brewing, so it's a nice treat. You can't go wrong with any of their beers and with there greenhouse program, they are always experimenting with new brews. On the way to the airport, drop $10, get a souvenir glass, and 4 fills and you won't regret it.

I took my boyfriends parents to Hops and Grain Brewery on their visit to Austin. The tasting room and tour are a great place to bring visitors to get the funky, East Austin vibe. At the bar you buy a pint glass that comes with drinking tickets. The glass is $10 and comes with 4 full glasses. You can try their three main beers and then they offer 2 small batch beers to test new creations. The tasting room has picnic table seating and tons of games. It was a little loud for our parents, but a really cool place to hang out with friends. We took the 5pm tour and it was so entertaining. The beer was great, the atmosphere was fun, and I will definitely be back with future Austin visitors.

I've lost count of the number of times I've gone to this brewery. This is one of my favorite places when I just need to get out and hang out with friends and have some of my favorite beers. Come in, pay your money and get beer tickets plus glass mug and taste away. In addition to the beers on tap they still also have tours of the brewery itself where you can see just how much work goes into making beer, especially at this level. They have a tasting room where you can hang but it can get a bit noisy in there so you can also hang out back. Be prepared for a line on certain days because they have gotten that popular and gone are the days of just showing up and not having to queue up less than ten people deep.

Great staff and IPAs. Wish they would experiment more though..there were only three types of beer and it was mostly all IPA. Their lager is great.

Excellent tasting room with friendly knowledgeable staff. You can play some classic board games at the benches and hangout. You can take the tour. Most of all you can try their flavorful beers. They also have some special brews only available at the taproom to try. It can be hard to find in the warehouse district. Drive behind the building where Google Maps takes you and you will see the sign. Good stuff.
