We took our Maine Coon cat JoeJoe to take care of his teeth. He had surgery that required 8 teeth to be removed. Poor kitty was probably in a lot of pain with all the problems in his mouth. We are so glad his regular vet referred him to this wonderful place. All the staff was very friendly and Dr Bellows was superb. He explained very well all the procedure and why it had to be done. I'm truly thankful for everything they did and for sure if any of my furry creatures need dental care I will go back. Keep up the good work and professionalism.

This is my second visit to Hometown Animal Hospital and I must say Dr. Bellows and his staff are the best! The Dr. and staff are very professional and easy to talk to. I did not once feel rushed while they were receiving vaccinations. If you love your pet the way I do I highly recommend Hometown Animal Hospital..where comfort is at its finest 😊😊 Thanks

Not only are they very knowledgable and professional but personable as well! Come here and you will soon realize that you have not only found excellent care for your pet - you've also found their second home 😊

DON'T BELIEVE 5 STAR REVIEWS THAT ANY FRIEND OR EMPLOYEE CAN LEAVE...WHEN YOU EVALUATE A BUSINESS, LOOK FOR THE ONE STARS FOR YOU KNOW ONE THING FOR SURE...THIS REVIEW IS DEFINITELY REAL!!# STEER CLEAR...MONEY HUNGRY...CARE STARVED! TOTAL MALPRACTICE & EVERY VET AGREES! Update: I had to put my cat down. What this Hospital could have recognized when I brought him in for his initial symptoms which was explained very clearly to the doctor as toxic mold exposure. The doctor performed no blood work or anything related to toxic mold exposure instead dismissed the toxic mold issue entirely 22 likely having no understanding of toxic mold and how it affects animals as he even recommended a lung biopsy which is how they figure it out toxic mold effects cats when a dental procedure resulted in an intubated cat dying from lung hemorrhage. Should this doctor have been more knowledgeable and not dismissed the report of symptoms occurring after toxic mold exposure and having the knowledge about it to do the proper testing, my cat would have likely been placed on the right medicine regimen and everything that occurred thereafter would have likely been avoided including the death of a 4 year old cat. Mind you, the hospital does read these posts and to date has never responded to me in any way as you will see they have been other cases where they feel there was no wrongdoing and a simple apology or call us is left as a remark. Brought my cat in received treatment that was contraindicated (found out later). Never ran blood work which would of caught the real problem my cat was suffering. Now it's escalated to the point he has to be admitted for Iv antibiotics and blood transfusions for something a simple blood test would of likely found and a course of abtibiotics, alleviated the issue. Now going unresolved and unrecognized by not providing a standard for care that is the first action almost any other vet would take just like a hospital with a patient with complaint and an unknown etiology of symptoms. Blood work is the markers for all the clues as to what's going on in the body and leads the way to diagnosis and recognizes life threats. Thankfully a local vet did his job well and ran blood work first. What we found was such severe Infection and anemia my cat is lucky to see Monday even with Iv antibiotics and transfusions. Will be reported to the board of Medicine and a lawsuit on the way....but nothing can make up for the loss of my cats life. Sadly in this place it appears money is most important and supercedes that value.

Latest review: 5/11/2016 I think this is the most heartfelt and well-deserved review I ever done in my life. We owe Dr. David and this hospital the life of my beautiful puppy, Bowie. Each and every person in this place is the most wonderful person you'll ever meet. Really. When you are in the waiting room, watching every person of the staff working - now that I kind of know them all -, they all have so many beautiful virtues. You observe them and you are in awe. They are right there with their hearts pouring and exposed all the time for you. They really love each and every animal that enters through that door, they know them by name and they remember everything of you. It's like arriving to your Christmas family dinner :). Dr. David has been an angel to us. He is a gem, full of brightness, intelligence, uniqueness. He has been there in the good and in the bad ones, right there next to us answering every list of questions we bring to our visits, with a big smile in his face, and extending his wise hand in every health problem our dog have had. I cannot explain in words how thankful we are to have found him. Do you remember those moments in life when you just know when your loved one is in the best hands, and you rest assure that whatever they say or decide, IT IS right, accurate and supported by the deepest point of view in science you can get in terms of knowledge? That, makes you breathe in peace, relieved, happy, secure, specially as a dog parent where things get a little bit difficult to interpret (since dogs cannot talk!) That's Dr David for us. He follows his instincts, he acts, he educates us, he loves our dog as much as we do, he calls us and replies to us and... he is so THERE; caring and loving, and as smart as you can get, since day #1. He always, always, goes the extra mile, and you leave his office so fulfilled. Our puppy caught a bad and hard to detect virus, and Bowie felt very ill. The way Dr. David analyzed, interpreted, advised and helped him throughout, was admirable. That cannot be bought, that is a gift. That's why every person that chooses Hometown is lucky; actually, FULL of luck just because their pet is going to be taken care of by someone like him, or by any of the wonderful doctors in this hospital. My husband and I are grateful beyond words for the life that emerges from this place, and the love they are willing to give. Our world and Bowie's world is a better one because of them. In regards to the hospital per se, they are incredibly organized, is beautiful and super clean, and they never forget a thing, really. Every follow-up happens, every call needed happens, every medicine refill or routine meds happen and is remembered, they even help you fill out claims for the insurance so you don't have to do it and feel insecure. Everything flows so responsibly, nothing is taken for granted, everything is appreciated and personal, you can feel that. Thank you Dr. Elizabeth too, Kaitlin, Mae, Vanessa, Ashley, Cinthia, Brooke, Humberto, and all the people in there that has made Bowie smile, that has made us trust, and have faith and be full of joy with your service. We cannot be in better hands. No one can be in better hands. Period. Thank you for being a family to us. Elaine, Rodolfo & Bowie

This place is great! I love bringing my fury little friend there! The customer service is immaculate, the girl Kaitlin is always smiling and friendly and very helpful. I wouldn't bring my fluffy angel anywhere else in the world. She's treated with love and care at hometown hospital and I would recommend it to all my friends and family, with or without pets :)

Absolutely amazing place to take your fuzzy or furry family member (pet). A very comfortable and clean waiting room and a welcoming and extremely friendly and caring staff. The medical care provided by the veterinarian was superb. The facilities are modern and state of the art. Between this and the sense you get that everyone there is sincerely concerned for your pet, I was left with a very good feeling about Hometown Animal Hospital. Dr. Elizabeth was awesome... thanks !
