Getting plenty of rest is so important when you’re sick or if you feel like you are about to get sick. I know this is pretty much a no brainer, but so many of us are busy people and we neglect to do this one simple thing as there is work to be done and kids we must care for.
How many of you don’t feel you have the time to slow down and take the time needed to care for yourself? You have a busy job, there are household chores to be done, and the kids have activities to get to - you are literally running yourself ragged. You are not giving your body time to heal and in the process of all this running around, you could be spreading unwanted germs to others.
Don’t ignore the fact you’re sick, take the time to rest and recover. That’s what sick days are for and a little extra sleep never hurt anyone and such a simple thing can help your body fight back so you can bounce back quickly!
