National Homebrew Day Is This Weekend! http://conta.cc/1zuPy8O
Starting at 10 am, we will have local brewers practicing their craft. These brewers enjoy sharing their experience and knowledge. Ask them about brewing and be ready to take notes! The new AIH bucket, doesn't stain or retain odors. Lid is drilled with a grommet for the airlock.

To keep monasteries operational, monks have started artisanal side businesses more often associated with another, trendier and more hedonistic counter-culture group.

The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and they have equipment and recipes for brewers of different experience levels. In addition, they keep fresh ingredients in stock and have a variety of grains, LME, DME, yeast, hops, and beer making equipment.

I was so happy to have a store open near me. Having a brew store far away from my home was a major obstacle and kept me from brewing for a long time. I've also had the experience of being in a store and feeling less than welcome. Brewing is a social activity, and stores should reflect that. That being said, I felt immediately welcome at the Ann Arbor AIH. I always get a greeting and my questions always get answered. The staff is knowledgeable and, as a sure sign of good customer service, if they don't know the answer, they help you find it. I recently built a cooler mash/lauter tun and switched to all grain and I get a lot of grain from AIH. It's milled well and they've got everything I need in stock and ready to go. They do a pretty good job of having a large variety of hops available. Lots of toys that I'm always tempted to buy and the store is spacious. I haven't had a chance to go to any events, so I can't comment on that.

Wow, this place is great. Huge selection of brewing supplies, friendly helpful service, and they even have homebrewed samples on tap to try as you walk through the store! Highly recommended.

Thanks for the quick shipping! I needed some kegerator parts and these guys had put together a small "kit" of the exact parts I needed. Most impressively, it took less than a week to arrive on my front door step (I'm from Canada). The last time I ordered anything from the States it took over 6 weeks!

Thriving home brewing business located in Ann Arbor. Knowledgeable staff that will make sure you are set up to make your best beer. They can get quite busy so I would suggest ordering recipes ahead of time for in store pick up, which is very convenient.

A very good selection but if you get the wrong guy to help you be prepared for a lot of condescending attitude.
