Give dad something he will love this year

Father's day has been celebrated in the UK on the third Sunday of June since 1966. It originated from the US of A when the men were feeling left out as there was already a Mother’s day! We have some great ideas to make Dad/Father/PaPa/Pop…… even more happy on his special day, such as manly soaps; cool dad scarves; leather slip on's, slate platters for the foodie dad and not forgetting our soft goats leather man-bags...

Why should you buy him something from Holy Cow Home?
Holy Cow is very happy to be working with skilled and talented artisans in India and Nepal and create beautiful Fair Trade products. We source ethically so you can buy guilt free and feel good about the gift you bought for that special someone. Win- Win!

Take a look at our website for Father's Day gift ideas and inspiration
Check out our vintage cork screws and wine bottle stoppers or openers, why not bundle with a nice bottle of his favourite wine or bottle beer. How about a nut cracker to match his nutty personality. A traditional bell so he can get your attention from time to time. http://www.holycowhome.co.uk/product-category/fathers-day-ideas/

Once we got back from the Mind Body Spirit show, we were delighted to learn that we had been nominated by for Muddy Stilettos Best Home Interiors Shop award, and in the week following her Best Gift Shop award too. For those who don't know Muddy Stilettos, it is the UK’s leading regional lifestyle blog, with over 100,000 readers and a social following of 50,000 across 18 counties. The blog is the ‘urban guide to the countryside’ for intelligent, fun-loving women who live outside the metropolis, but who want to be in the know for the cool, quirky and unmissable things to do where they live – from destination pubs to romantic getaways, cool kids theatre to pop-up supper clubs. Keeping everything crossed.

I recently went on a buying trip to India with the #thereforus win from Sage, it could not have come at a better time and here is a glimpse of what I learnt, it does not make me an expert, but appreciate even more the skill and craft involved in the many block printed items I stock at Holy Cow Home

Look closely and all is not what it seems. Piet Hein Eek, (amongst others) and NLXL have combined to create mind teasing premium quality wallpaper. With the range including the famous Scrapwood (winner Editor’s award at ICFF New York), Brooklyn Tins, Concrete Wallpaper and others, there is a design for any location and to add that something special.
Holy Cow Home are proud to stock wallpaper by NLXL who want to be the world’s smallest global company but already they are leaving those who see their designs asking, “Is it, isn’t it?”

Hello all, I'm Poonam, and new to Google plus, started my little independent home interiors and gift shop in April last year, and now trying to improve my knowledge and understanding of Google+, just received my G+ bespoke Url, please check me out and follow me. I have worked in an office all my life and this huge change of direction in my career has brought about a steep learning curve, and im still learning. Looking forward to sharing with many others who are starting up like me.
