The state of South Carolina requires an attorney to be present at the closing of a real estate transaction and has issued extensive best practices guidelines. The SC Supreme Court has listed the essential components of a closing as 5 categories: title search, loan documents, closing, recordation of documents, and disbursement of transaction funds. This is where you want (and need) to have the respresentation of a lawyer, as each of these steps must be supervised by an attorney in order to protect SC real estate consumers.

Read more about the role an attorney plays in your SC real estate transaction. Trust me, it's a good thing.

Brides, I will let you in on a secret - make it easy on yourself and get a ticket to the Junior League Bridal Boutique on January 21, 2017, hosted this year at the historic downtown Charleston venue, the Peter Bocquet House, better known (to us!) as our office at 95 Broad Street. There will be new and vintage gowns for the bride, the mother of the bride and bridesmaids. Thanks to the League’s fabulous donors, all proceeds from the purchase of these dresses will go to the Junior League’s worthy causes.

"A Smooth Sea never made a skilled Sailor."

Life, is like a sea. And we, are like sailors. Life was never a smooth sea, as it is filled with tough waves aka "challenges". Challenges are here to test us, to help us grow, as we overcome them.

Inspirational --- Shannon got the idea for her first jewelry designs when she was cleaning up clay bits from the messy floor surrounding her daughter's playarea.  LOVE the great stories of inspiration.
