I came across a proposal somewhere which argued that in the web era, researchers should make a point of publishing all their data. It described how peer review would work, too... can't find it just at the moment... but I would totally support that.

Story
Introduction
Behavioral neuroscience with an emphasis on aging and dementia has been the focus of my academic career for more than a decade. I have 11 years of experience in basic science laboratories where I have planned and executed studies using animal models and pharmacological interventions to investigate the relationships between dysregulated physiological systems and cognitive performance. In particular, I concentrated on glutamatergic neurotransmission, neuroinflammation, vascular pathology, aging and memory function. Through these studies, I have mastered a broad spectrum of advanced experimental techniques and developed a substantial record of peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences. Additionally, I enjoy public speaking and mentoring, and this has allowed me to present my work to the scientific community through symposia and presentations, as well as lecture a variety of undergraduate and graduate level biopsychology courses and form strong relationships with mentees in my laboratory
