Hard to tell which was worse - the food or the service. The three people working behind the counter were rude and unhelpful. Example: Me: "Hi. I'm just visiting for the day. My first time here. What would you recommend?" (Presumed) pit master: "Whatever you'd like." This encounter was evidently emblematic of the care and pride that goes into the making of the BBQ. The pulled pork and pulled brisket were dry and unremarkable. The barbecue beans and turnip greens were bland and generic. The cornbread pancake was inedible. Conclusion: Go elsewhere. This joint is a waste of time, money and - especially - appetite.

Meat was very tough. Baked Beans were amazing. Unfortunate when the best thing from a meal is a side dish. Definitely worth passing on.

Ribs were OK to good. Order was wrong twice and the guy that who served it to us argued and said he put all the food in the bag. Clearly it wasn't there or we would be asking for it...

Don't believe the hype, it's overpriced and nothing special. In fact, there was garbage everywhere on the ground And it was pretty obvious the staff was burnt out. Service was mediocre and food was bland. Coleslaw was bland and watery. sauces weren't anything special special either. pulled pork was average, cooked fine but no flavor. Try famous Dave's or Martin's, I wish I would have.

Best white sauce in town, only coleslaw I'll eat, and BBQ beans are my parent's favorite. They always have to get some every time they come to Nashville!!!

Went there for lunch on Saturday. Instant service, large portions, and great tasting. I had the pork, my wife the beef, and both were great.. Cold slaw and mashed potatoes were also perfectly done. Since they do not use any wheat fillers it was all gluten free.

Not good. I may be a bbq snob, but this was terrible. Meat was watery and cold. Beans tasted canned with added pepper. Potato salad was ok, but extremely mayonaisy. I'm also fine with a dive type place, but you could at least pick up the trash and wipe the stuck on bbq sauce off of the table. We paid almost $30 for 2 plates and a sandwich. I wouldn't recommend it.
