"The Greatest Free Show on Earth!" In addition to more than 100,000 pounds of pumpkins, squash and gourds on the street display, there are displays of canned goods, baked goods, flower show, fruits and vegetables and an art show in the Watt Street Pumpkin Show building. The musical act for tonight is Crimson River with Cedar Hill Bluegrass Boys scheduled for August 15. Hocking Hills Inspire Shelter will sell refreshments for the entire 11 weeks. Every Friday, a special dinner will be offered in addition to the regular menu. Enjoy dinner, then just walk across the street to the Music in the Park concert in Worthington Park. The new summer hours for M&M Family Diner are Monday - Thursday 7 a.m - 3 p.m., Friday 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., Saturday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Now offering a new Lite menu featuring specialty salads and club sandwiches as well as the old favorites. Also new this summer: catering services throughout the Hocking Hills.
Full Moon Paddle
Boat Launch at Strouds Run State Park, Athens, 7 - 9:30 p.m.
Kayak with us under the full moon. Paddles are two to three hours long. Enjoy a peaceful evening on the water, watch the sun set and the moon rise across the water as the stars sparkle above you. Join the Hocking Hills State Park naturalist and staff from Camp Oty'Okwa at the camp's big field at Purcell Rd. off of St. Rt. 374 and we will show you the many unique features of our universe while we watch for the annual Perseid Meteor Shower.
