I love this cover by Dave Koz. Just started watching the show, but I do love the opening theme song.

Vince, what type of prewound bobbins do you use in the machine?

Hi Hobbygirl
I purchase pre-wound bobbins called PolyStar® polyester for the brother machine from my dealer:Mr vac and Mrs sew, Joe and Lisa. www.mrvacandmrssew.com phone. 516-781-7600. Ask for Lisa, mention Vince to them, they are good people and know their products.

I have been trying this and I am having a problem. The latex mould sticks on the inside as I take it off the doll's foot. Any suggestions?

Latex is sticky, but you should be able to turn the moulds. It is impossible to know the exact reason for your problem. Maybe the mould isn't thick enough to keep its shape and so the inside surfaces get in touch too easily. Or maybe the latex isn't dry enough when you try to remove the moulds.

If you're going to use the mould for plaster casting, you can apply powder also to the inside before turning the mould and that will fix the problem. If you want to do resin casting, you can't use powder as it will show on the casting's surface. You just need to be careful when removing the moulds. And always remember that if it looks easy on the video, it's because I've been doing this for 15 years, so I've had a lot of practice.

Edited with #aviary > My daughter's graduation quilt. She graduated last May and she gathered lots of signatures. I love the way this quilt turned out. Just sharpened, cropped, and framed it in Aviary.

I know it should be obvious, but I am a new Silhouette user: Would I use print and cut to get the cropped letter effect? Would I print the picture and then cut the letters, or would I print and cut the final project?

Thanks, I will try making it thicker and letting it dry longer. I live in a humid climate, so that may be why I am having trouble.

Wow! I love this.

Diagon Alley  Looks almost real.  The set from Leavesden Studios.  Wonder what's down that little dark alley - it's not Knockturn Alley, as you walk through that to the main part ;)  What do you all think about what J.K. Rowling said today?  Hermione should have ended up with Harry - she realizes in hindsight.  All I thought was, all those shippers are crowing from the rooftops.  It makes no nevermind to me, I was too old to much care about that part of the story (sorry Mrs. Rowling).  I always thought of Harry quite like a son.
