You may have not heard of the duo Over the Rhine, but their fans follow them anywhere for their "torchy, devil-may-care" sounds. See them on 4/4 and book a room with us to be close to the venue and post-show celebrations.

Here's a #FoodieFriday duet offering, with love from us... Come to our restaurants and pair our classic #Marylandcrab bisque with lump crabmeat, cream, Sherry and Old Bay with our oven-baked brie cheese served with apple slices, blackberries, honey, and house-made crostini. Is it lunchtime yet?

We came here for our wedding and spent a wonderful week there. We stayed in the Maryland Inn. We asked for a room with a view of the water and they were happy to hook us up with a great room and offered others in our party suites at no extra charge. Valets were exceptionally friendly and helpful! Front desk folks were great! If you like a historic, old fashioned, and possibly haunted (in a nice way) hotel you will not be disappointed.

We stayed at the Maryland Inn on Mother's Day week-end. Opening the door was like stepping back in time. The furnishings were comfortable and inviting. We had a room overlooking Main St, which was fun. This hotel is in the center of everything. We walked everywhere. Our check in was quick and friendly. We went for our son's college graduation but I fell in love with this city and plan to return and stay at the Maryland Inn.

My wife and I stayed at the Governor Calvert House for our anniversary in November. Not only did we get an amazing rate of $89 per night, but our room was upgraded to a historic queen and a bottle of bubbly was waiting in our room for us for our anniversary. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The decor of the room and the entire hotel was perfect for us because of its history and quaint charm. Perfect place right on State Circle (especially when the State House Inn next door was 3x the price). Just wish the Treaty of Paris restaurant was open on Sundays, but otherwise, our stay was great. Valet parking was convenient too, they even took our bags the next day and put them in the car for us while we shopped.

From the moment I arrived and greeted by the friendly professional staff, my stay was first class/five stars. An historic inn from the outside as well as in the lobby and state room, the rooms were 21st century including a comfortable bed and wide screen TV with more channels to choose than I have at home. When you walk out the door, you're in the most beautiful section of Annapolis, just steps away from the US Naval Academy, the State Capital, churches and historic landmarks. One suggestion, make sure you have enough baggage to bring back what you acquire from the wonderful shops on the cobblestone and brick streets in the area. The friendly staff will also provide you with a listing of great restaurants and bistros nearby.

Front the moment we arrived till the moment we left - it was a great expereince. The staff from the curb-side valet to the front desk and the high quality 'maid' service was all aces. The shuttle service to an East Port Restaurant was a excellent addition....We will be back!

We had a great time in the Maryland Inn. We stayed in the room with the best view, the top of the hotel facing Church Circle. It was newly redone in the bathroom and while it was a little small the view was well worth it. Check-in is done at the Governor's House but we didn't have to go back to check-out, just left our keys in the room and called in, it was so easy. The location is amazing, a quick walk to anywhere in downtown annapolis. The staff told us of a free parking garage during the weekends which we loved. Great for a one-night getaway!
