Cakrasana (Wheel Pose)

In Cakrasana the body takes a wheel-like, semi circular shape, hence the name. Another reason it got this name is the effect it has on all the chakras, activating and energizing them. It gives great flexibility to the spine. Some of the preparatory poses are Bhujaungasana, Sethu Bandha Sarvaungasana, Urdhva Mukha Svanasana and Utkata Vajrasana.

Ardha Baddha Padma Paschimottanasana (Half Bound Lotus Forward Bend)

Generally, forward-folds help to soothe the brain and create a cooling sensation in mind and body, while simultaneously stimulating the digestive system and toning the abdominal organs. Preparatory poses for this one can include: Uttanasana, Supta Padangusthasana, Janushirasana, Paschimottanasana, Vajrasana.

Bhastrikasana (Bellows Pose)

It is an excellent pose for constipation, indigestion, excess stomach fat, headache and high blood pressure.

Lie on your back, and while breathing out, bend the right leg and bring the thigh into contact with the chest. Grasp the leg firmly with both hands. Maintain this position for eight seconds, holding the breath. Resume the original position while breathing in. Repeat with the left leg, and then with both legs together. One round comprises practicing first with the right leg, then left leg and finally both legs together. Practice eight such rounds, i.e. 8 x 3 = 24 positions
