Did you know roller disco is still live?

For anyone born after 1970s, this is when all dancers on the floor are wearing roller skates and go around in circles for hours to funky music.

Sounds like fun? Skate on!

It's very good standard and good value. £185 paid for family room including breakfast and dinner which i think is excellent deal. But there is room for improvement on cleanliness of carpet. Overall I would recommend it for families.

The ugliest hotel since a long time. The rooms are dirty, old, outdated. The location of the hotel is horrible, you sleep between heavy duty streets. The Spa-area is old and dirty. Never again!!!

I attended a conference at the Glasgow Hilton recently. The staff members were invariably polite, friendly and helpful. Rooms were appropriately appointed and very clean, with comfortable beds. On the first evening, the conference dinner was held at the hotel, and the food was simply superb. Many attendees stated it was the best conference dinner they had ever had, and I could disagree with them. Both steak and vegetables were cooked to perfection, which is pretty impressive when feeding around 160 delegates. The whole meal was delicious. The only downsides are a) the wifi costs, and b) it's location if you are on foot - it's definitely easier to arrive by cab.

Definitely not a 5 star! If you book a room here ask for a refurbished room as the ones that haven't been refurbished are dirty, unkept and dated. I was really shocked!

Reminds me of a 3 star hotel... 80s rooms and the worst WiFi I've experienced in many years in the room

The room was adorable, cosy and what you would want from a over charging hotel. However the £19.00 per person 'mad hatters' afternoon tea, was more lead with your imagine, not your taste buds. The waiter forgot our tea, the bloody mary prior to that was dreadful, quite simply a cold cup of Heinz tomato soup. The afternoon tea took forever to arrive, once it did the bread on the horrifically filled sandwiches was dry, the cakes were not at all innovative as one would expect from a 'mad hatters' tea party, the cupcakes were stale and the novelty blue drink revolting, overall I wish I had gone for predictive chips and your ordinary Bisto gravy. This way you are aware that you are about to be served dreadful food other than being shocked.

I ended up staying in the Glasgow Hilton when there was a problem with my booking at another Glasgow hotel. I could not failt my stay, or the way I was treated at the original hotel. We ate in the bar which was very good, the room was well furnished, comfortable and clean. The indoor car park was a plus though the entrance is quite tight. Never got the chance to use the pool, would definitely stay there again

This hotel claims to be "five star" in the ad. Well, just having a spa and a couple nice restaurants does NOT make you five star. Your most important commodity as a hotel is the rooms. These rooms are three star at best. Their biggest attraction is that they have largish plasma TVs in all of them. Other than that, our room was no different than we would get at a Motel 6 in the States. The pool and hot tub were nice enough, and free to use for guest, which was a nice surprise. Particularly since everything else was so expensive. For instance. Internet service is 15 pounds per 24 hours, which is a brutal ripoff. Which is why I am using the last of my service to write this mediocre review of the place. The location may be fine for business travellers who can expense every cab. For tourists, who would like to use the underground or the railway system or walk places, you could do better. The Hilton is located a quick walk from Anderston train station, but you have to ride the train three stops in either direction to get to the underground at all. The last comment is that our room, and indeed the hallway on our floor, smelled faintly of body odor. I've smelled it before in hotels in rainy climes, it's like something nasty grew in the ventilation system. Again, I don't expect this from a "five star" hotel. I don't dislike this hotel. I do, however, quibble with any review that gives it more than three stars.
