And what important lesson did we learn from watching this?

If you're under the age of 25, probably nothing, because you're immortal and the laws of physics don't apply to you.

Riding a bike has simple rules:
1 lane doesn't mean you get to pass a car inside the lane.

2 lanes doesn't mean you get to drive between the cars

Don't speed. Speed kills. If you're in a car, you have crumple zones and airbags. On a bike, you ARE the crumple zone and the only airbags are your lungs.

Learn to brake properly. If it's wet, sandy, or on gravel, for GODS SAKE, DO NOT USE YOUR FRONT BRAKES! You'll eat pavement every time!

If you know you're going to hit a vehicle, don't be afraid to lock up the back brake, kick the bike sideways, and let the bike slide into the vehicle first. It'll give you a little protection from the impact AND help prevent you from getting squashed by the bike.

If you want to show off and do stunts, stay off the F'ing streets!

And if you're looking to get a bike and never ridden before, buy a used bike, not a new one. I promise you that if you ride it regularly, you WILL lay it down and/or drop it. I can't count how many times I've bet people they'll lay down the bike in the first year, and I've NEVER lost that bet.

Just remember the 3 rules to riding.

1) You're invisible.
2) If hey can see you, they'll try to hit you
3) Paranoia is your friend

Oh yeah -- have fun. :)

I absolutely love this place. I've been treating myself and friends to sushi on my birthday for decades, and never realized this place existed until last year when Google pointed it out for me. I've been hooked on them ever since. Being back in the corner of the strip mall makes them a bit of a "hole in the wall" secret that you love to find. I'm surprised that more people don't come here. If you like sushi, then you'll love Edokko!
