Based on a Japanese design, this pencil case is made to measure for the new Apple pencil.
The unusually thick leather gives it enough strength and protection in my laptop bag and it makes sure that the cap doesn't get lost either.

A design that can’t be much simpler: enough room for 4 passports including larger ones (hard-cover passports). Tickets and boarding passes can be folded and put inside, too. But the main focus of this wallet is to keep the passports together. Nothing…

The first version of the updated flip wallet for iPhone 6. I’m working on updating the tutorial as soon as I have a final version of this one ready. This version uses much thinner, lighter and stronger kangaroo leather. Thin enough for a front pocket…

Trying out some dyes on dry kangaroo veg-tanned leather. Mahogany with some darker patches for a worn look.

This sleeve is made for the iPad Pro. Its current job is to keep the iPad safe while I’m waiting for the keyboard cover. It is made from 2 different hides: the top is around 3mm and the bottom is 2mm vegetable tanned leather from Victoria, Australia. They…

For some reason, I had to visit your website to see these pictures...
Anyway, I used this exact same idea just over a year ago for my new (at the time) Kindle Voyage.  It, literally, gets daily use as I never go anywhere without it and so far it is working out just great.
and that reminds me... My wifes new Kindle Fire arrived yesterday, so I guess I better make another one!..  lol...

One from my “fun project ideas” folder: a leather case for a 60% keyboard (the Vortex Pok3r). I picked some beautiful 4mm thick vegetable tanned leather from Victoria, Australia for the main 2 parts and lined it with black pigskin suede. The hinge at the…

Only made from a couple of pieces of kangaroo leather, this medium long wallet is just right for the minimalist who needs a little extra space for receipts and bills. I’m working on getting this up on the tutorials section ASAP. Keep checking back in!

As usual, your work is beautiful -- it ages to look even better, if that's possible!

An experiment in shapes: Angular cutout for the front part of the sleeve and minimum number of stitches. Finished in mahogany and from a single piece of saddle leather. Fits iPhone 6 without case.
Made from a single piece of saddlery leather, hand-stitched with a unique cut-out design

I recently started to use unwaxed kangaroo leather. It’s about 1mm thick and it’s got a great feel to it. This is a wallet project I recently finished using this leather.

Free downloadable pattern available, too!

This is the step-by-step process of making a simple trifold wallet with room for a few cards and some cash. The design is loosely based on the wallet from the movie "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty...

Leatherwork – Handmade & Designed in Australia
Introduction
I love making cases for the gadgets that I have (I have a tech gear buying addiction) because most mass-produced cases and bags don't have the same quality feel as a handmade product. And it's a great excuse for me to take a break from designing things on the computer.

I'm also trying to document the way I make things so I can show the process on my website www.highonglue.com. Hopefully that will help you or inspire you to make something by hand, too. Something you can take pride in!

This profile will be updated with new work and work in progress whenever I make something new. Once I get to upgrading to a better camera, you'll also find videos on this page.

If you have any questions, let me know!
