The nurse threw all the garbage on the floor including Needle packaging, Normal saline bags, gauze, etc. no vital signs taken after original set, 5 hours later.... Nurse seems like he doesn't want his job. Usually this ED is the only one I go to, but not anymore.

I have been coming to highland for years and always had great care except for today my husband has been sick for a few days now and in alot of pain we arrived in an ambulance upon our arrival they put my husband in the waiting room while vomitting as we say in the waiting room for 3+ hours all the while the er was completely dead nobody around as we sit in the waiting while my husband is puking his brains out finally to be called back by a rude old man to sit in a room for another 2 hours again while puking his brains out....Oh and still haven't seen a nurse or doctor yet wish us luck

They have a very sweet staff. That go above and beyond their duties to make sure you and your visitors are comfortable while you are there. The cafeteria is very accomodating also. If you don't like something the on the scheduled menu they have, you can call by a certain time and you can get any thing else they offer which is quit a lot. I would recommend this hospital to anyone!

My experience is that the doctors, nurses and other staff are stellar and professional. My radiation oncologist is better than any doctor I have ever dealt with and the nurses are equally good. Radiation techs also just as good. All very kind and supportive of the patient.

Everyone, from the janitorial staff to the doctors and especially the nurses, is friendly, knowledgeable, kind, understanding and smiling. I'd go there for a vacation and let them pamper me. LOVE Highland Hospital.

On numerous occasions my aging parents have been in the hospital. My experience today with my mother in the emergency department causes me to write this review. When you enter the medical field you make a vow to compassion, understanding and listen. Today the staff at Highland Hospital failed to show compassion to my mother. Dr. Circe failed my mother in so many ways, bedside manner, communicating my mothers treatment plan and listening to my mothers history. Since when do doctors not listen to heart rates, lung functions Etc. When a patient is complaining about chest pains with radiating pain down left arm. Medical Care costs continue to rise and bedside manner declines.

Everything went great! Staff was professional, friendly and thorough. Very well cared for. Volunteer organizations that come in make you feel special even though you are sick and don't feel well.
