Rocky Broadhead Boots - Gear Review
One way to end a hunt early is to have unhappy feet. If your feet aren't happy, you aren't happy. There is nothing like hiking into the backcountry and getting blisters or getting your feet wet. For me, making sure you have the proper boot for the terrain y...

Shed hunting: 5 tips to become a better bone collector. http://ow.ly/L6erT
Photo by Donald M. Jones Shed hunting is over-the-top huge right now—a sport all its own. Massive whitetail sheds command five figures at auctions. There’s a shed-antler record book as thick as a metro phone directory, and shed expos big enough to boast the Bud Girls. A “finished” shed-hunting dog can fetch $7,500. Introduction
I am one of the many weekend warriors. I work hard during the week with daydreams of big bucks and monster bulls. The weekends don't come soon enough and are over sooner than they came. I have been hunting for 15 years with plenty of success. Every hunt to me is a successful hunt. It doesn't matter if I harvest an animal or come home empty handed, the success is being out in the field and the bonus is some meat in the freezer. I am a DIY, public land hunter so there is lots of competition which makes it tough, but I love the challenge.
