Aston Martin has been working at reviving the Lagonda marque for several years now. But when it finally did with the Taraf sedan, it was initially prepared to offer it only in the Middle East. That apparently ruffled some feathers with prospective buyers in other parts of the world, which has prompted Aston to expand the super-sedan's availability to additional markets.

The labor dispute that idled 29 ports on the West Coast last the weekend, including Los Angeles and Long Beach, CA, is about to make its effects felt on the showroom floor, according to Reuters. Honda, Toyota and Subaru have been trying to work around the labor disagreement, cutting overtime and airlifting parts to factories, but Honda says parts shortages at plants in Indiana, Ohio and Ontario, Canada, are now severe enough to impede production.

Chrysler isn't supposed to unveil the next-generation Town & Country until the 2016 Detroit Auto Show, but FCA is hard at work getting the minivan ready for launch. Honda CEO Takanobu Ito thinks that the automaker he leads needs to go back to basics to avoid continuing quality concerns. To do that, the boss is making the radical shift of entirely chucking the company's six-million vehicle annual sale targets through 2017, and there's no intention to include the goals in the next midterm plan, either, according to Bloomberg. The move comes soon after last month's announcement to set aside about $425 million to pay for recalls and slice forecasts by about 17,000 cars for the fiscal year.

Already the fastest selling Land Rover ever, the 2016 Range Rover Evoque gets a raft of updates that should keep it playing at the head of the field. The eye is greeted first by a new bumper with larger intakes at the corners, hanging below headlights with LED DRLs and the option of all-LED beams. In between those are one oftwo new grille designs: standard fitment pairs two crossbars with a fine mesh, while Dynamic trims like the one pictured get a hexagonal structure. Speaking of trims, they've been aligned with the Range Rover Sport, so buyers will choose between SE, HSE Dynamic, and Autobiography.

The Pagani Huayra is nothing if not two things: incredibly fast and highly exclusive. Those looking for confirmation of both, however, need only look to how fast it has sold out.

General Motors CEO Mary Barra had a rough first year at the helm of the automotive giant managing recalls of tens of millions of vehicles and Congressional hearings over their handling. Despite that, she made around $14.4 million in 2014, and Barra and other top execs just received even more shares of the automaker's stock for 2015.

The site FiveThirtyEight has a lengthy article on some of the studied connections between speed limits and road deaths, titled, Why the Rules of the Road aren't Enough to Prevent People from Dying. It looks at how speed limits are set, how long ago the methodology was created for setting speed limits, and wonders if some revamped matrix of road safety mandates could reduce traffic deaths.

We generally take it as a given that, as far as performance goes, rear-wheel drive is better than front. All-wheel drive can be better than either, in some cases, but you need power going to the wheels that aren't also handling the steering while leaving the others just tagging along for the ride. Right? Well Nissan is here to upend that notion with the new GT-R LM Nismo, presented here at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show.

If thousands of people were going back to the store based on the service and job well done factor, you'd take that pretty seriously. I'm guessing, what if I told you that store was an automotive repair shop? Would you believe me? You should, because we found a place truly this amazing and couldn't wait to tell our readers all about it. Perhaps you already know them: H. Heaven Auto Repair.

What makes this place so successful? We think it's their unique mix of honesty, integrity and passion for the job. Owner Steve McNamara thinks besides loving the job, you must have these key elements. "You have to put the best quality parts in the car, and have the right skill factor. Technicians have to be highly skilled to get the job done right the first time! We also believe in fair pricing. We're in the business to make money, but we don't put price over other mechanic shops."

Pretty straightforward, right? Well, it gets better. Besides the fact they scored a perfect 100 on the AAA customer service satisfaction survey, their entire business concept revolves around... you.

"We open at 7:30 in the morning so that our customers have enough time to get their cars serviced and still be on time for work." says Steve. "Also, If a customer cannot wait for an hour or two as we do other services, then we're willing to give that customer a ride. For some of our other clients, we sometimes pick up their car from their home or pick them up from work, free of charge. And unlike other shops, we offer warranties that are good for two years. Other places have a six-month to one-year warranty. I honor any coupons from a competitor, but I insist on using factory-made parts. We use very high quality parts and give very high quality service. What can I say? We have an old fashioned way of doing things. We treat customers with respect by handling all of their needs!"

H. Heaven is a superior auto shop! I own a Chevrolet Avalanche and a Pontiac G6, two beauties that are being taken off the manufacturer’s assembly, and I wasn’t sure if they would serve us well if repairs were a challenge for us. H. Heaven really takes that worry away. I am so happy this shop takes such good care of the customer and the car! H. Heaven makes it possible for me to know that I can count on being treated very well with superior car service because they will help me keep my cars running for a very long time. The Avalanche had a transmission issue and we went to a local shop, not H. Heaven the first time, and we had an awful experience. Tragic, really, they charged us a lot, kept the car for such a long time rats actually ate the wires in the car, we had to supply our own rental and less than two years later, the transmission and the backend stopped working again. My thoughts at the time were that we could not afford to keep this vehicle. I met Steve McNamara, the owner of H. Heaven, and I took my car to his shop. What a difference. They charged us less money to begin with, they had the car done in less than a few days, and they supplied a loaner for free so we never lost an ounce of productivity. I recently took in my G6 because I hit a curb really hard and she needed some front end work. I love H. Heaven because I told them I only had a certain amount of money and they came in under my budget. Not only did they save me some money on my budget, they fixed a couple problems I did not even know I had and the repair bill was so small for it that I was extremely happy. H. Heaven is the place for people who love their cars and want to keep them on the road for a long time. I know this to be true because the loaner they share for free with the customer has 325,000 miles and it is still in good shape. You know you have a good mechanic if the car runs beautifully and has that many miles on it. I am so happy to be a customer of H. Heaven! Check them out yourself. They will do everything they can to make you happy too! Great Shop!

When the Check Engine Light came on, I scheduled an appointment with HHeaven after a coworker of mine recommended i try HHeaven. Josh suggested a 17 point inspection for my pre-owned Lexus SUV. The engine light has remained off since HHeaven provided the expert SUV engine care. Thank you Josh.

H heaven wanted to charge me $410 for an ignition switch to be installed. I asked them how much the part was costing. They said $147.00. I asked them how much the labor would be. They said $263.00. I told Josh the mechanic that this price seemed to be very high, and asked if he was negotiable on the price. He said no and the computer is set to give a mechanic 2 1/2 hours to do the job. I found the same part at AutoZone for $52.00. I installed the part in a little under 45 minutes( I took my time & had lunch). I don't recommend them because they are way overpriced, dishonest, and unproffessional. this posting is from Richard Mikol, not Zach Mikol. thanks

A lot of people complain about the high cost of auto repair and service today. Cars are pricey to maintain and repair, notably when something significant gets damaged. But just because your bill was $1499 for a new transmission doesn't mean you were misled. Big ticket items like engines, transmission, even computers, fuel injectors and catalytic converters are expensive to replace no matter who does the work. Hheaven can handle all these repairs backed by a 2 year 24 mile warranty.

I had lost the gas cap to the gas tank on my car. I didn't think that was a problem until the check engine light came on. I took it into HHeaven, they threw on a new gas cap and the check engine light turned off. It was explained to me that the pressure change in the gas tank had done that. Whew!

When my Asian Import Nissan Xterra SUV started having radiator leaks, HHeaven technicians fixed it in time to avoid any more costly repairs. When its time for the 60k factory recommended service, I already know where I'm taking my SUV. Steve and Josh, you've earned my trust.
