HOW TO MAKE YOUR TIRES LAST 10 YEARS
It turns out we're replacing our tires a lot sooner than we should be
Chances are, there's some sourceless bit of knowledge rattling around in your head. You don't know how it got there or where it came from, but you believe it. Maybe your convictions on tire life falls into that category. Poor miles per gallon, or MPG, can have many possible causes. In this article, I'll touch on some of the most common causes of poor MPG and their possible fixes. The truth: In the past, replacing headlight bulbs meant having to swap out the entire headlamp assembly. Thankfully for cars today this is no longer the case - Car manufacturers have been using halogen bulbs that are separately replaceable for many years. What you might have heard: "Changing headlight bulbs is a snap!"... If you're the type who frequently loses keys, you might be able to save money on the programming by creating a third key to have as a spare. If you already have two keys, a number of vehicle brands will allow you to program a third key on your own. You can have a locksmith cut this "emergency" key and then you follow the procedure for programming, which can frequently be found in your owner's manual. If the manual doesn't show you how, try searching online for the procedure. - See more http://ow.ly/4nauID

The Check Engine light — more formally known as the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) — is a signal from the car's engine computer that something is wrong. The light could mean a costly problem, like a bad catalytic converter, or it could be something minor, like a loose gas cap. If thousands of people were going back to the store based on the service and job well done factor, you'd take that pretty seriously. I'm guessing, what if I told you that store was an automotive repair shop? Would you believe me? You should, because we found a place truly this amazing and couldn't wait to tell our readers all about it. Perhaps you already know them: H. Heaven Auto Repair.

What makes this place so successful? We think it's their unique mix of honesty, integrity and passion for the job. Owner Steve McNamara thinks besides loving the job, you must have these key elements. "You have to put the best quality parts in the car, and have the right skill factor. Technicians have to be highly skilled to get the job done right the first time! We also believe in fair pricing. We're in the business to make money, but we don't put price over other mechanic shops."

Pretty straightforward, right? Well, it gets better. Besides the fact they scored a perfect 100 on the AAA customer service satisfaction survey, their entire business concept revolves around... you.

"We open at 7:30 in the morning so that our customers have enough time to get their cars serviced and still be on time for work." says Steve. "Also, If a customer cannot wait for an hour or two as we do other services, then we're willing to give that customer a ride. For some of our other clients, we sometimes pick up their car from their home or pick them up from work, free of charge. And unlike other shops, we offer warranties that are good for two years. Other places have a six-month to one-year warranty. I honor any coupons from a competitor, but I insist on using factory-made parts. We use very high quality parts and give very high quality service. What can I say? We have an old fashioned way of doing things. We treat customers with respect by handling all of their needs!"

Best auto repair shop ever. On 1/10/15 I noticed a VERY loud screeching coming from the front end of my 2014 Honda Accord, so I called up Steve and he came by later that day, to my house, to check it out for me! Well we couldn't find out what it was, so the next day I had it towed to the shop, we arrived around 1130 am, Steve and me went to lunch and by the time we came back, the car was fixed! Now THAT is friendly customer service!

H Heaven? More like H Hell...I wish there was a way to give ZERO STAR! We tried this business out because of a flyer in the mail. I wish we had read all the reviews prior to bringing my boyfriend's car in. We took my boyfriend's car to H Heaven at 8:30 am and they promised a quote within an hour. At 11:30, they hadn't called with an estimate yet so he called them. They said "We'll call you back right away." They didn't call back after 30 minutes, or an hour or an hour and a half. So he called them again at 1 pm and he was told his car needed $5000 worth of repairs. All he wanted was an oil change and routine maintenance. So he said just do the oil change, brake fluids and spark plug repairs. He asked if this would get done within the day and was told that it would get done. At 4:30 we hadn't heard from HHeaven so he called them. It turns out, THEY DID NOT DO THE OIL CHANGE OR THE BRAKE FLUIDS YET and they were missing the spark plug replacement parts so they asked if he could leave the car overnight and everything would be done in the morning. By this time, my boyfriend was very upset and said he would just pick up the car because he had asked MULTIPLE times whether everything would be done within the day and was assured EACH TIME that everything would get done within the day. The staff member called back within 30 minutes to say they did find the spark plug part (miraculously???) and would be done in a few minutes. We went to HHeaven to just pick up his car. Turns out they had taken the car apart so we had to wait till they put everything back together. He got charged $380+ for getting spark plugs replaced, NO OIL CHANGE WAS DONE! He presented the coupon in the flyer and the cost came down to $310+. The parts cost $80 and labor was $300. This was for working on the car for just a few minutes. NEVER EVER AGAIN will we come back to this place!!! Horrible customer service (never called back within the time frame they say they will); overpricing; and inability to do what they say they will do. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

Hi there John, I tried to call you first thing in the morning. You have a mailbox that has not been set up so I could not leave you a message. My name is Steve McNamara the owner of H Heaven Auto Repair. My manager Josh contacted me last night and said you and your car did not get handled like we normally do with our customers. I completely understand your frustration and this is totally our mistake. We would like to take care of all the items we did not get finished at no charge to you! I value every customer as if they are part of my family. Please send me an email at hheaven.auto@gmail.com or call the shop and ask for me directly. I will make this right, and we will make you a happy customer again if you give us a chance! Sincerely, Steve McNamara

H. Heaven is a superior auto shop! I own a Chevrolet Avalanche and a Pontiac G6, two beauties that are being taken off the manufacturer’s assembly, and I wasn’t sure if they would serve us well if repairs were a challenge for us. H. Heaven really takes that worry away. I am so happy this shop takes such good care of the customer and the car! H. Heaven makes it possible for me to know that I can count on being treated very well with superior car service because they will help me keep my cars running for a very long time. The Avalanche had a transmission issue and we went to a local shop, not H. Heaven the first time, and we had an awful experience. Tragic, really, they charged us a lot, kept the car for such a long time rats actually ate the wires in the car, we had to supply our own rental and less than two years later, the transmission and the backend stopped working again. My thoughts at the time were that we could not afford to keep this vehicle. I met Steve McNamara, the owner of H. Heaven, and I took my car to his shop. What a difference. They charged us less money to begin with, they had the car done in less than a few days, and they supplied a loaner for free so we never lost an ounce of productivity. I recently took in my G6 because I hit a curb really hard and she needed some front end work. I love H. Heaven because I told them I only had a certain amount of money and they came in under my budget. Not only did they save me some money on my budget, they fixed a couple problems I did not even know I had and the repair bill was so small for it that I was extremely happy. H. Heaven is the place for people who love their cars and want to keep them on the road for a long time. I know this to be true because the loaner they share for free with the customer has 325,000 miles and it is still in good shape. You know you have a good mechanic if the car runs beautifully and has that many miles on it. I am so happy to be a customer of H. Heaven! Check them out yourself. They will do everything they can to make you happy too! Great Shop!
