To this date, I hear some of the most renowned social media pundits and experts preach their special brand of engagement. Their public speaking, books and social media channels are littered with messages to enchant, inspire and heck even 1,2,3 jab you with how to engage. But when you watch them – and I mean really, really watch them – what do you see?
Who am I? I am an online marketer who has worked in the technology space for over a decade. My new venture is ArCompany. I'm working with some pretty amazing colleagues in their own right: Danny Brown, Amy Tobin and Andrew Jenkins. We are all excited about this next evolution of social and what it will mean for business. We want to help businesses get there and capitalize on what what's coming.
I am also a writer with the Huffington Post, What's Your Tech and Digital Journal. I am also one of 3 Marketing Geeks in a weekly pubcast on technology. Previous experiences include Jugnoo, Due North, Isobar Digital, Yahoo! Overlay.TV, Citibank, CIBC, Ogilvy and Rapp Collins. I have views on advertising, emerging technology including video, and social web applications. I’m living and breathing in the social web space and cannot consume as quickly as this space evolves. I follow politics, environmental initiatives, and music (mainly the old stuff pre 1990).
